Crime Report July 06, 2015

1. An Accident case FIR No. 29/15 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 05.07.2015 U/S 279,337, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Ghanshyam Nepali S/o Sh. Karan Bahadur R/o Village Snail, PO Dhadi Rawat, Tehsil & PS Jubbal, District Shimla, age 20 years stated therein that on 05.07.2015, he alongwith Udham Lal (driver) & Mukesh (Conductor) were coming from Snail to Village Kyari in Tipper No. HP-63A-0703. At about 03-00 PM, when they reached near Chiwa Kenchi, above vehicle met with an accident and rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of driver Udham Singh. In this accident conductor Mukesh R/o Teoni has died on the spot and they sustain injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Raj Kumar, I/O PS Jubbal.   

2. A Wrongful Restraint & Criminal Intimidation case FIR No. 65/15 has been registered at PS Rohru on 05.07.2015 U/S 341, 323, 506, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sanya Ram S/o Sh. Lobhu Ram R/o Village Bhamnoli, PO Sammerkot, Tehsil Rohru Distt.  Shimla alleging therein that on 05.07.2015 at about 03:00 pm when he was going to home from Govt. High School Bhamnoli, on the way three persons namely  Narinder s/o Sh. Prashotam, Lucky S/o Sh. Mohan Singh, Happy S/o Sh. Mohan Singh r/o village Bhamnoli PO Sammerkot have obstructed his way, beaten him and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Ashish I/O PS Rohru.

3. A Theft case FIR No. 229/15 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 05.07.2015 U/S 379 IPC on the application of Sh. Manoj Kumar Chandel S/o Sh. K.S. Chandel R/o Chandel Saivty Niwas near Durga Gas Godown Sanjauli Shimla stated therein that some known person has stolen away his Maruti Car No. HP-03A-2110 bearing Chasis No. SB3081N2363549 & Engine No. F8BIN33766636 in between 03.07.2015 to 05.07.2015, parked on his Uncle parking at Kala Dhank near Sanjauli. The case is being investigated by HC Lekh Ram, I/O PP Sanjauli, Shimla.

4. A Resistance or obstruction by a person to his lawful apprehension case FIR NO 66/15 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 05.07.2015 U/S 224 IPC on the statement of Sh. Gain Singh Head Constable posted in Police Line Reckonpeo Distt. Kinnaur alleging therein that on 04.07.2015, he & HHC Moni Ram produced accused namely Sanjeev Kumar S/O Sh. Prem Singh R/O Gaura Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla in the Ld. Session court Rampur in case FIR NO 41/15 U/S 366,376 IPC & sec. 4 of POCSO Act.  On 05.07.2015, after producing the accused they were going back to Police Line R/Peo in the Bus. On the way bus driver stopped the  bus at Badhal, for taking refreshment. When they alongwith above accused were going for urinal, at the same time above accused pushed them & ran away at the spot .The Case is being investigate by ASI Bhoop Singh I/C PP Jeori.

5. A Burglary case FIR No. 166/15 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 06.07.2015 U/S 457,380 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sunil Thakur S/o SH. Ram Lal Thakur R/o Village Kajail, PO Raudi, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla stated therein that in the intervening night of 05/06.07.2015 some unknown person has broken the door lock of his shop at Uma Market, Chakkar Shimla and stolen away one Nikon Camera, One Intex Mobile & Cash Rs. 50,000/- from his Shop. The case is being investigated by SI Kulwant, I/O PS West.

6. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 37/15 has been registered at PS Sunni today i.e. 06.07.2015 U/S 341,323,504,34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Jagdish S/o SH. Sita Ram R/o Village Kalvi, PO Basantpur, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla alleging therein that on 05.07.2015, Hemant Kumar & his wife obstructed his way, abused and beaten him.

7. During last 24 hours 147 vehicles were challaned under MV Act & 11  Persons challaned under Smoking Act. Total challaned compounded= 81 & fine realized Rs 18,800/- .

   Follow-UP

1.       Rajesh Khachi S/o Sh. Shyam Singh R/o Village Shawag, PO Dhamandri, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 26 years, arrested in case FIR No. 142/15 Dt. 03.07.2015 U/S 18-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar, is further on police remand upto 07.07.2015.

2.       Accused  1) Karam Singh S/O Lt. Sh. Surender Singh R/O Railway Colony T-42 Shimla H.P.  2) Manoj Kumar S/O Lt. Sh. Ram Rattan R/O VPO Taksal Teh. Kasouli P.S. Parwanoo Distt. Solan H.P. 3) Pankaj S/O Sh. Ram Swaroop  R/O T-98 Quarter No. D  P.S. B/Ganj Shimla 4) Akhilesh Thapliyal S/O Sh. Dhaneshwar Thapliyal   R/O C-12/60 P.O. Choura Maidan Shimla HP 5) Tashi Negi Chhering S/O Sh. Tenjin Nima R/O H.No. 35/1 Nabha PS B/Ganj Shimla H.P .have been arrested in case FIR No. 160/15 Dt. 28-6-2015 U/S 436  IPC PS West,  today sent to judicial custody for 14 days.

3.       Ishu Mattu S/o Sh. Sanjeev Mattu R/o Saini Niwas, near BCS Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 25/15 Dt. 03.07.2015 U/S 457 380 IPC PS New Shimla today bailed by the trial court.

4.       Parikshit Dharoch S/o Sh. Hari Ram Dharoch Rr/o VPO Chakmoh TehsilvVijad Distt. Hamirpur A/p Dharoch niwas below Himfed building BCS New Shimla Tehsil & Distt Shimla age 19 years has been arrested in case FIR No.  55/15 Dtd. 03-07-2015 U/S 457,380 IPC PS New Shimla, today bailed by the trial court.
