Crime Report July 20, 2015

1. An Excise Act case FIR No. 58/15 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 19-07-2015 U/S 39 HP Excise act on the rukka of SI/SHO Deepak Thakur alleging therein that on 19-07-2015 he alongwith staff was on patrolling and traffic checking duty. When he reached near Mahindera Finance office Khalini he intercepted one person namely Prem Kumar S/o late Sh. Veer Singh R/o VPO Hadaboi Tehsil Sunder Nagar Mandi at present C/o Onkar Niwas Khalini and recovered 18 bottles of country liquor Una No.-1. The case is being investigated by SI Deepak Thakur, SHO PS New Shimla.

2. An Excise Act case FIR No. 37/15 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 19.7.2015 u/s 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI/SHO Dharam Sain Negi alleging therein that on 19-07-2015 when he alonwith staff was on patrolling duty at kokunala on an information he recovered 516 bottles of country liquor marka Lal-Pari from the store of Deepak Shahi S/o Dharam Raj village Gali Tehsil Kot Distt. Dolpa Anchal Karnali Nepal a/p running Dhaba at Kokunala Tehsil Kotkhai. The case is being investigated by SI Dharam Sain Negi SHO PS Kotkhai.

3. An Excise Act case FIR No. 39/15 has been registered at PS Sunni on 19-07-2015 u/s 39 of HP Excise Act on the statement of  SI/SHO Tilak Chand  PS Sunni  alleging therein that on 19-06-2015 at 10:05 PM when he alongwith staff was on Naka duty at Gharat Nala he intercepted one Maruti Car No. HR 70A -6325 (Maruti- 800) and recovered 96 bottles of country liquor marka Una No.1 and 12 bottles of English liquor marka Green Label from the possession of Gyan Chand S/o Sh Roop Chand R/o Vill. Bighan PO Jassal Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO Tilak Chand PS Sunni. 

4. A Causing death by negligence Act case FIR No 131/15  has been registered at PS Rampur on 19-07-15 U/ S 336,304A IPC On the statement of Sh. Dalip Singh S/o Sh Sagar Dass Village Nirsu Po Dutt Nagar Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP stated therein that on 19-07-2015 when the defiance Cable OFC work was in progress at Naya Nirsu Sh. Raju welder of IPH buried inside the parfait due to land slide and died on the spot. This incident occurred due to negligent work of contractor.  The case is being investigated by SI/Add SHO Naresh Sharma PS Rampur.

5. An Accident case case FIR No. 58/15 has been registered at PS East today on 20.07.2015 u/s 279/337 IPC on the statement of Kokesh Chauhan Ss/o Mr. Ganga Ram Thakur R/o Thakur Niwas Rani Ground Kasumpti Shimla stated therein that on 19-07-2015 he was going toward Mall road in vehicle No. HP03-2309 alongwith Pawan Thakur and Nitin Sharma. At about 11-00 PM  when they reached at Post office chotta Shimla Nitin Sharma the driver of vehicle lost control over the vehicle due to rash and negligent driving and above vehicle met with an accident. The case is being investigated by HC Sandeep Kumar I.O. PS East Shimla.

6. An Accident case FIR No 27/15 has been registered at PS Nerwa today i.e. 20.07.2015 U/S 279,337, 304(A) IPC on the rukka of ASI Kamlender Singh I/O PS Nerwa alleging therein that today at about 05.05AM one vehicle No. HP-08A-0908 (Bolero Camper) met with an accident at Kyarla near Antrawali & rolled down 300 meter from the road into the river Shalwi due to rash & negligent driving of Munish. In this accident 4 persons namely Ankush Thakur S/o Sh. Kamal Singh R/O VPO Jor Thapad Tehsil Nadoun Distt. Hamirpur, Jai Bhadur S/o Sh. Dhan Bahadur R/o Sirpakola Tehsil Jhajharkot Oda No.- 7, Anchalberi Nepal A/P Devender Negi R/o Village Lalpani, Rajesh S/o Sh. Narayan Dutt R/o Village Gunsa PO Nerwa Tehsil Chopal & Driver Munish S/o Lt. Sh. Ramlal R/o Village Lingah Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla sustained injuries and one person namely Prem Bahadur Nepali S/o Sh. Dig Bahadur R/o Village Dogra PO & Tehsil Garkha Kot C/o Subhash Negi R/o Village Lalpani Tehsil Chopal died on the spot. The case is investigated by ASI Kamlender Singh I/O PS Nerwa

   Follow-Up

         Deepak Shahi S/o Dharam Raj village Gali Tehsil Kot Distt. Dolpa Anchal Karnali Nepal a/p running Dhaba at Kokunala Tehsil Kotkhai has been arrested in case FIR No. 37/15 Dt. 19.07.2015 U/S 39 HP Excise Act PS Kotkhai, bailed by the trial court.  

         32 Accused namely Bassi Lal, Prince Kumar, Balvinder, Bhagwan Ram, Balbeer Singh, Nanak Singh, Sandeep, Sanjay Kumar, Ravi Kumar, Suman Kumar, Hoshiyari Lal, Lal Chand, Sumit, Baljeet Singh, Budh Ram, Sandeep Kumar, Udha Ram, Manoj Kumar, Deep Nagpal, Pankaj Nagpal, Amar Chand, Anil Kumar, Gopal Gautam, Sandeep, Karam Jeet Kaur, Muskan, Soniya, Khushi, Soniya Hans, Kavita Verma @Sonia, Pooja Kumari & Baldev Kaur have been arrested in case FIR No. 184/15 Dt. 19.07.2015 U/S 3,4,5,7 Immoral Traffic Prevention Act at PS West. Today above accused have been produced in the Ld. Court. Court has given Police Remand to the four accused namely Baljeet, Anil, Gopal Sharma & Balwinder Kaur @ Preeti and another 28 accused have been sent to judicial remand.
