Crime Report July 02, 2015

1. An Excise Act case FIR No. 30/15 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 01.07.2015 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka fo SI Dharam Sain, SHO PS Kotkhai Shimla stated therein that during patrolling / Traffic checking duty near Hulli, one vehicle No. HP-09C-0328 a/w driver Rakesh Chauhan S/o Sh. Dila Ram R/o Village Kanlog, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla intercepted by them & recovered 48 bottles of country liquor marka Sirmaur Orange from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Dharam Sain, SHO PS Kotkhai.  
2. A Trespass case FIR NO 162/15 has been registered at PS West on  01.07.2015 U/S 447,427 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sita Ram S/o Sh. Sadhu Ram R/o Vill Shakoh PO Kalihatti Tehsil and Distt. Shimla alleging therein that Smt. Gaytri  Devi w/o Kapoor Chand grazed her cattle, cut the grass & trees and  damaged the crops in his land. The case is being investigated by ASI Mohan Lal I/O PP Jatog.
3. A Robbery case FIR No. 163/15 has been registered at PS West on 01.07.2015 U/S 382 323 IPC on the application of Sh. Sukh Dev S/o Late Sh. Raghubir Singh R/o Deep Bhawan, Lower Phagli, Shimla stated therein that on 01.07.2015, he was going to home at Lower Phagli. In the evening, when he reached near Chamunda Mata Temple at Down Dale Phagli, an unknown person pushed & dragged him towards hill and snatched Rs. 810/- from his pocket. The case is being investigated by ASI Ajeet Singh, I/O PS West.
4. During last 24 hours 253 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, 05 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & 01 Challaned under Mining Act. Total challaned compounded= 127 & fine realized Rs 49,400/- .

Accused Kishori Lal S/o Sh. Daya Ram R/O Vill. Sihra P.O. Binola Tehsi & Distt. Bilaspur H.P.  arrested in case FIR No. 93/15 Dt. 25-04-15 U/S 454,382 IPC P.S. West Shimla, today bailed by the trial court.
