Crime Report on 13th June 2019

1. A ND&PS Act: Case FIR No. 47/19 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 13.06.2019 U/S  21-61-85 ND&PS Act on the Rukka of HC Ramsain PP Narkanda alleging therein that on 13.06.2019 during patrolling duty alongwith staff he recovered 1.7 gram Chitta/heroine from the possession of Virender Singh S/o Sh Kalyan Singh R/o village Tapron P/o Khunni Tehsil Rampur District Shimla. The case is being investigated by I/o PP Narkanda.
2. A Cheating: Case FIR No.139/19 has been registered at PS West on 12.06.2019 U/S 420, 468 & 471 IPC on the statement of Sh Rakesh Kumar S/o Sh Sant Ram R/o village Sain Nodung P/o Shikroh Tehsil Sadar District Bilaspur alleging therein that a person namely Rajkumar S/o Sh Rattan Lal village Sain Nodung P/o Shikroh Tehsil Sadar District Bilaspur has prepared a fraud certificate of 10^th Class and recruit himself as a driver at the post of driver in HRTC department. The case is being investigated by SI Jaspal Singh I/O PS West.
3. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 141/19 has been registered at PS West on 12.06.2019 U/S 39(i)(a) HP Excise Act on the ASI Roshan Lal I/o PS West alleging therein that on 12.06.2019 during patrolling duty along with staff at Shogi Barrier he recovered 792 boxes of Country Liquor from the possession of Wajid Ali S/o Sh Chotta R/o village Bagani P/o Meruwala Tehsil Poanta Sahib District Sirmour. The case is being investigated by ASI Roshan Lal I/o PS West.
4. A MISCHIEF BY FIRE: Case FIR No. 142/19 has been registered at PS West on 13.06.2019  U/S 435 IPC on the statement of Sh Anupam Kumar Sharma S/o Sh Uttam chand C/o Uttam Naiwas Kaith Estate Fagli Shimla-4 alleging therein that on 12.06.2019 a person namely Ajay Kumar has set the Fire in Junk, kept at his home which caused damage to his house. The case is being investigated by I/o PS West.
5. During last 24 hours 537 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded =162, 18 persons challaned under Smoking Act and 01 challan under Mining Act.
