PRESS NOTE ON 20.06.2019

1.   A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 103/19 has been registered at PS Theog on  Dt. 19.06.2019 U/S 21 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Narender Kumar, I/O SIU Shimla alleging therein that on 19.06.2019 at about 02-50 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Gita Ram S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/o Village Bhagaro PO Jais Tehsil Theog District Shimla, intercepted by them near ITI Theog and recovered 10.61 Gram Heroin from his possession. Accused has been arrested by the Police and the case is being investigated by HC Rajesh Kumar No. 219, I/O PS Theog.

2.   ASSAULT ON GOVT. SERVANT DURING PERFORMING GOVT. DUTY: Case FIR No. 48/19 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 19.06.2019 U/S 353 332 34 IPC on the statement of HHC Sanjeev Kumar No. 999, A/P Posted at Kuddu Barrier, Jubbal alleging therein that on 19.06.2019 at about 05-00 PM, during duty at Kuddu Barrier, one vehicle No. HR69C-7878 (Ashoka Leyland) came there and he gave a signal to driver to stop the truck. But he stopped his vehicle 100 meter ahead from the Barriers. When he asked the driver for checking the vehicle’s documents, driver Abdul Kadir S/o Sh. Hakkim Ali and Operator Noman S/o Sh. Meer Hassan, both are the residents of Village & PO Harsoli, PO Shapur, Tehsil & District Muzafar Nagar, started to quarrel with him during performing his govt. duty. The case is being investigated  by ASI Deepak, I/O PS Jubbal.

3.   ASSAULT ON GOVT. SERVANT DURING PERFORMING GOVT. DUTY: Case FIR No. 48/19 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 19.06.2019 U/S 353 332 IPC on  the complaint of Sh. Sudershan Kumar S/o Sh. Dharam Singh R/o Village Rahjol Tehsil & District Hamirpur A/P Posted as Conductor in HRTC Depot Reckongpeo District Kinnuar alleging therein that one passenger namely Dharm Dass S/o Sh. Phool Dass started to scuffle with him and beaten him brutally during performing his govt. duty. The case is being investigated by ASI Rajesh Kumar, I/O PS Jhakri.

4.   AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 47/19 has been registered at PS Jubbal on the statement of Sh. Daya Ram S/o Sh. Ram Dayal R/o Village Dhar, Tehsil Kasauli, District Solan alleging therein that on 05.04.2019, he alongwith his brother Nand Lal was going towards Village Gunsa on his Scooty No. HP14C-2250 (Rohru Depot). At about 03-30 PM, reached near Gunsa curve, at the same time a HRTC Bus No. HP10B-2676 driven by Hans Raj, came rashly with negligent driving and hit his scooty, caused sustained injuries to him.  The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PP Sarswati Nagar, Jubbal.  

5.   During last 24 hours 577 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded= 172 and 16 person's challaned under smoking Act.

FOLLOW-UP

1.   Accused Rajender Singh S/o Sh. Trilok Chand R/o Village & PO Bharmar, Tehsil Jwali, District Kangra, age 40 years, arrested in case FIR No. 97/18 Dt. 28.05.2019 U/S 407 IPC at PS Theog, is remanded in police custody upto 24.06.2019, by the Ld. Court. 

2.   Accused i) Adbul Kadir S/o Sh. Hakim Ali R/o  Village & PO Harsoli, PO Shapur, Tehsil & District Muzafar Nagar, UP & ii) Noman S/o Meer Hussain  R/o  Village & PO Harsoli, PO Shapur, Tehsil & District Muzafar Nagar, UP arrested in case FIR No. 48/19 Dt. 19.06.2019 U/S 353 332 34 IPC at PS Jubbal, is being produced before the Ld. Court today.  

3.   Accused Gita Ram S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/o Village Bhagaro PO Jais Tehsil Theog District Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 103/19 Dt. 19.06.2019 U/S 21 ND&PS Act at PS Theog, is being produced before the Ld. Court today.
