CRIME REPORT 8 MARCH

1. A ND& PS Case FIR No. 27/14 is registered at PS West on 07.03.14 U/S 20-61-85 NDPS Act on the rukka of ASI Mast Ram, I/O PS West that on 7-3-14 at 3.45PM when he was on patrolling duty alongwith  staff near Bharti Patrol Pump, he recovered 400gram charas from the illegal possession of Niraj Sharma S/o late Sh. Tara Dutt Sharma R/o Vill. Malog, PO Taradevi, Distt. Shimla. The Case is being investigated by ASI Mast Ram, I/O PS West.

2. A Burglary Case FIR No. 31/14 is registered at PS Sadar on 07-03-14 U/S 454, 380 IPC  that on 7-3-14 some unknown person broken the lock of house and stolen away Gold ring, Mangal Sutra, Tops Nose Pin, Silver Payal, Currency note Rs. 8,000/- The Case is being investigated by HC Amar Dutt, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar.

3. A Theft Case FIR No. 22/14 is registered at PS East on 08-03-14 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Rohit Sharma S/o Sh. Suresh Chand Sharma, Admin Incharge Reliance Jic Inforcom Ltd. Shimla, alleging therein that on 8-3-14 at 6.45AM Security Guard of the office informed him that in the intervening night 7/8-3-14 some unknown person stolen away 68 mtrs. of copper wire from the premises of Reliance office at Panthaghati. Total value of stolen property is Rs. 1.77 lac. The Case is being investigated by ASI Raml Lal, I/C PP Kasumpti.

4. During last 24 hours 162 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act., 09 persons were challaned under Smoking Act. & 01 person were challaned under Mining Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challan is Rs. 17,100/-.
