CRIME REPORT 26 MARCH

1. An Accident Case FIR No. 32/14 is registered at PS Rampur on 25-03-14 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Smt. Narwada Devi w/o Sh. Krishan Lal R/o Vill. Khanewali, PO Devnagar, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that when she was present near Chaudhary Adda along with her daughter & grand daughter, a Truck no. HP26-0477 came from Kinnaur side & crushed her granddaughter Paranch. This accident took place due to rash and negligent driving by Sunny Sharma s/o Sh. Yoginder Sharma R/o Vill. Gochar, PO Daserha, Teh. Jhanduta, Distt. Bilaspur. The Case is being investigated by ASI Ishwar Singh, I/C TTR Rampur.

2. An Accident Case FIR No. 20/14 is registered at PS Rohru on 25-03-14 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Om Parkash s/o Sh. Chedi Parsad R/o Brij Mohan Chauhan Building Boutinala A/P Shopkeeper Shiva General Store Dev Market near Gas Agency Rohru, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that when he was present in his shop, a  Maruti car no. HP10A-26-5379 came from Rohru  in high speed and hit three persons namely Parkash Chand, Suresh Garnhal & Joginder, who were standing in his shop & they got injured. The Case is being investigated by HC Parkash, I/O PS Rohru.

3. An Accident Case FIR No. 10/14 is registered at PS Jubbal on 25-03-14 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Vikrant Singh s/o Sh. Mangla Nand R/o Vill. Rauhildhar, PO Nandpur, Teh. Jubbal, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that a vehicle No. JK07TA-5056 met with an accident near Govt. Middle School Shashan. This accident took place due to rash and negligent driving by Babu S/o Sh. Primu. In this incident one person got injured. The Case is being investigated by HC Gopal, I/O PP Sarswati Nagar.

4. A Theft Case FIR No. 19/14 is registered at PS Rohru on 25-03-14 U/S  379 IPC on the statement of Sh. Yashpal s/o Sh. Devi Ram R/o Dashalni, PO & Teh. Rohru, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that he parked his motorcycle No. DL-65P-3776 near the house of Sh. Manoj Chauhan, during intervening night 18/19.03.14 some unknown person has stolen away his motorcycle. The Case is being investigated by HHC Brij Lal, I/O PS Rohru.

5. A Burglary Case FIR No. 33/14 is registered at PS Theog on 26-03-14 U/S 454, 380, 511 IPC on the statement of Smt. Suni Devi w/o Sh. Hira Singh R/o Aadar (Majholi) PO Dhamandri, Teh. Theog, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that when she came back home from field, she saw one unknown person cross her house, she found that door & boxes was opened by unknown person. She informed about this to her husband. After some time Mr. Ramesh Kumar informed her telephonically that one unknown person has been caught by villager at Primary School Majholi, who was broken the lock of school. The Case is being investigated by PSI Sanjeev, I/O PS Theog.

6. An Assault of Criminal Force to Deter Public Servant from Discharge of his Duty Case FIR No. 11/14 is registered at PS Jubbal on 25-03-14 U/S 353, 332, 504, 506 IPC on the statement of Constable Kushal Kumar No. 436, PP Sarswati Nagar, alleging therein that when he was on duty near Sawara Bazar, a person namely Goverdhan Dhalta S/o Sh. Pratap Dhalta R/o Sarswati Nagar, Teh. Jubbal, Distt. Shimla abusing, beat him and threatened him with dire consequences. The Case is being investigated by ASI Ranjeet Singh, I/C PP Sarswati Nagar.

7. During last 24 hours 353 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. 23 person were challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challan is Rs. 42800/-.
