CRIME REPORT 28 MARCH

1. An Indian Forest Act Case FIR No. 40/14 is registered at PS West on 27-03-14 U/S 447 IPC & 32, 33 I.F.Act on the complaint of Sh. Kundan Lal, Range Forest Officer Shoghi, alleging therein that on 26-3-14 some persons namely Keshva Nand, Brahma Nand & Chet Ram R/o Vill. Bhar, PO Anandpur, Teh. & Distt. Shimla an unauthorized road has been constructed in forest land beat 213 Bhar. The Case is being investigated by SI Madan Lal I/O PS West.

2. A Cheating Case FIR No. 13/14 is registered at PS Kotkhai on 27-03-14 U/S 420, 468 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ashok Chauhan s/o Sh. Rama Nand R/o Vill. Neraghati, PO Kiari, Teh. Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that his younger brother Suresh Kumar issued a cheaque on 1-4-2013 amounting Rs. 31000 in favour of Sh. Dhani Ram of Cooperative Bank Kotkhai, but the official of above Bank made wrong payment of Rs. 81000 instead of Rs. 31000. The Case is being investigated by SHO PS Kotkhai.

3. A Cheating Case FIR No. 30/14 is registered at PS East on 27-03-14 U/S 420 IPC& 66 (C,D) IT Act on the complaint of Sh. Surinder Kumar Sharma, Assistant PF Commissioner, PF Shimla, alleging therein that one Mr. Suresh Kumar SSA( Under Suspension) withdraw Rs. 17421 & Rs. 22377 by hacking the account password of  Provident Fund Accounts.  The Case is being investigated by SHO PS East.

4. During last 24 hours 195 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. 15 person were challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challan is Rs. 35700/-.
