An Accident Case FIR No. 27/14 is registered at PS Kumarsain on 25-03-14 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Bhagwan Chand s/o late Sh. Charan Dass R/o Vill. Mangsu, PO Thanedhar, Teh. Kumarsain, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that his vehicle no. HP-06A-3198 met with an accident near Thanedhar. In this incident his brother Partap Singh s/o late Sh. Charan Dass died on the spot and one another person namely Prithvi Singh got injuries. This accident took place due to rash and negligent driving by Partap Singh. The Case is being investigated by ASI Dev Raj, I/O PS Kumarsain.
During last 24 hours 180 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. 07 person were challaned under Smoking Act. 01 challan under Mining Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challan is Rs. 12900/-.
