CRIME REPORT 21 MARCH

1. An Excise Case FIR No. 32/14 is registered at PS West on 20.03.14 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Bhagirath PS West alleging therein that when he was on patrolling duty alongwith staff near Tuti Kandi at about 4:20 PM, they found Akahay Sharma S/o Sh. Suresh Sharma Ro Shop No. 18 Middle Bazaar Shimla at present Jay Bhole Enterprises Lower Bharari, with 12 bottles Liquor Marka Surur. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagirath I/O PS West.

2. A Mischief by Fire or explosive Case FIR No.17/14 is registered at PS Jhakhri on 20.03.14 U/S 436,511 IPC on the statement of Sh. Goverdhan Gupta s/o sh. Shyama Nand VPO Dofda Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 18.03.14 at about 05:30 AM his wife Usha Gupta told him that some unknown person mischief by fire or explosive substance with intent to destroy the house. The Case is being investigated by ASI Chairing Dorje I/C PP Sarahan.

3. A Theft Case FIR No. 47/14 is registered at PS Dhalli on 20.03.14 U/S 457,380 I.P.C on the complaint of Sh. Mohan Lal Thakur S/o Lt. Sh. Ram Bhaj R/o Devku Niwas Mehli Junga Road P.O Kasumpti Tehsil & Distt. Shimla A/P J.B.T Teacher Govt. Primary School Kyanna Mashobra Block alleging therein that on the night of 19.03.14 someone broken the lock of kitchen Shed of Govt. Primary School Kyanna and eatable items and kitchen utensils etc. were stolen from the kitchen. The estimated value of these eatable items and vessels are about 10,330/- Rupees only. The case is being investigated by H.C Prem Singh I/O P.P.Junga.

4. An Accident Case FIR No. 48/12 is registered at PS Dhalli on 21.03.14 U/S 279,337 I.P.C on the statement of Kumari Ruchika D/o Sh. Devi Singh R/o Vill. Guthan P/O kalind Tehsil. Theog Distt. Shimla alleging therein that she is studding in class 10th in Senior Secondary School Portmore Shimla. On 20.03.14 she went with her god brother Sh. Aman S/O Sh. Mahender Singh R/O Vill. Dhalera P.O Chalnair Teh. Kotkhai Distt. Shimla H.P to Chharabra for outing. At about 04-30 PM when they were coming back to Shimla their vehicle car i-10 No. HP-09A-3585 scrolled down in Dhaank(Slope) near Chharabra Helipad. No one else then her and Aman were in the car. Aman called the 108 Ambulance on spot which took them to IGMC Shimla for treatment. This accident took place due to rash and negligent driving of driver Aman. The case is being investigated by HC Bhajan I/O P.S Dhalli Shimla.

5. During last 24 hours 98 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challan is Rs. 18, 500/-.
