                           PRESS RELEASE ON 26-07-2019

1.   Excise Act: Case FIR No. 76/19 Dated 25-07-19 U/S 39 (i) HP Excise Act has been registered at PS Kotkhai Shimla on the ruka of Insp SHO Santosh Kumar alleged therein that on 25-07-19 he along with PS staff was on patrolling/checking duty near Nihari Nala. During checking they stopped vehicle No.HP01A 5660 driven by Shubham Kumar S/O Sh Nehru Ram R/O Village Vichhan PO Tooran Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla and recovered 264 bottles of country liquor from his possession. Case is being investigating by SHO PS Kotkhai.

2.  Excise Act: Case FIR No.132/19 Dated 25-07-19 U/S 39 (i) HP Excise Act has been registered at PS Theog Shimla on the ruka of ASI Purshotam I/C PP Chhaila alleged therein that on 25-07-19 he along with PS staff was on patrolling/checking duty at Hulli. On secret information they recovered 05 bottles of country liquor and 07 bottles of beer from the Dhaba of Sh Bhola Parshad. Case is being investigating by I/C PP Chhaila.

3.  An Accident: Case FIR No.169/19 Dated 26-07-19 U/S 279 337 IPC has been registered at PS West Shimla on the statement of Sh Naleshwar S/O Sh Ghanshyam R/O VPO Batwara Tehsil Sunder Nagar District Mandi alleged therein that on 25-07-19 he along with two another persons were going to Parwanoo in his vehicle No.HP31C-3420, at about 12.05 AM when they reached near Shoghi, then a vehicle No.HP63-5070 came wrongly from Solan side with rashly  and after hitting his car run away from the spot. They sustained injury. Case is being investigating by the HC Neel Kamal.

4.    Rioting Case: Case FIR No. 84/19 Dated 26-07-19 U/S 147 148 149 323 506 IPC has been registered at PS East Shimla on the complaint of Sh Narender S/O Sh Mohan Lal R/O Dagah PO Beolia, Distt. Shimla alleged therein that today he was cutting  grass in his field then suddenly his maternal uncle Parmanand his son Dharam Pal, Dinesh and there wife's along with Kapil came there and beaten him brutally. They threatened him with dire consequences. He sustained injury. Case is being investigating by HC Jagat Ram I/O PP Kasumpti.

 5. An Accident: Case FIR No.133/19 Dated 26-07-19 U/S 279 337 IPC has been registered at PS Theog Shimla on the statement of Sh Chaman Lal S/O Sh Roshan Lal R/O Village Dadaur PO Dhawan, Tehsil Balh, District Mandi alleged therein that today on 26-07-19 he was going from Kullu to Kanpur in his truck No.HP65A-1187 loaded with apples. When he reached at Devi More than vehicle No. PB01A 3295 car came rashly and collided with his truck. Case is being investigating by HC Rajesh Kumar.

6.  During last 24 hours 709 vehicles challaned under MV Act 308 compounded, 25 person's challaned under Smoking Act.
