Crime Report on July 10, 2019

1. A CHEATING: Case FIR No.143/19 has been registered at PS Sadar on 09.07.2019 U/S 420,467,468,471 IPC on the complaint of SDM Urban Shimla alleging therein that on 09 July 2019 a person namely Sh Retaish Mahajan son of Shri Sant Kumar Gupta resident of Sudarshan Cottage, Upper Chakkar, Shimla, HP has approach his office for the  issuance of Birth certificate. He has submitted NAC from MC Shimla and School Certificate of Secondary education examination in support of his DOB.  This office has accordingly obtained report from CMO Shimla on the basis of which notice was published in official Gazette for inviting objections from general public.  During this process his office noticed the tempering with above mentioned person’s certificates. The case is being investigated by I/o PS Sadar.
2. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 152/19 has been registered at PS West on 09.07.2019 U/S 39 (i)(a) Excise Act on the rukka of SI Jaspal Singh I/O PS West on 09.07.2019 during patrolling at old barrior along with staff he recovered half bottle of English & half bottle of country liquor during pag sale by owner of Dhaba at old barrier of Sh Madan Sharma S/o Sh Babu Ram Sharma R/o H.No.111/1 village Pali P/o Dadech Tehsil Theog. The case is being investigated by I/o PS West.
3. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR NO. 78/19 has been registered at PS East on 09.07.2019 U/S 39 (i)(a) Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Mehar Chand I/O PS East alleging therein that on 09.07.2019 during patrolling duty he recovered 32 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Sunil Sharma S/o Sh Raghuveer Sharma village Khadar P/o Nakodapul Tehsil Chopal District Shimla A/P Dhaba at NH Road Mehali Shimla. The case is being investigated by I/o PS East.  
4. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 72/19 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 09.07.2019 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the atatement of Sh Hari Dutt Sharma S/o late Sh Annant Ram village Daloudi P/o Dhar Chanana Tehsil Kupvi District Shimla alleging therein that on 09.07.2019 a vehicle NO HP 16A-0513 met with an accident in which three persons died on the spot.The case is being investigated by I/o PS Kotkhai.
5. During last 24 hours 642 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded =152, 06 persons challaned under Smoking Act.
