    PRESS RELEASE ON 25-07-2019

1.    Excise Act: Case FIR No.168/19 Dated 24-07-19 U/S 39 (i) HP Excise Act has been registered at PS West Shimla on the ruka of ASI Keshav Chand I/O PS West Shimla alleged therein that on 24-07-19 he along with PS staff was on patrolling duty near Jathia Devi. During patrolling they intercepted a person namely Sh Jagdish Chand S/O Lt. Sh. Bansi Ram R/O Village Shilli Bagi PO Jathia Devi Shimla and recovered          06 bottles of country liquor from his possession.

2.  An Accident: Case FIR No.133/19 Dated 24-07-19 U/S 279 337 IPC has been registered at PS Dhalli alleged therein that on 24-07-19 complainant along with two another persons were going to Sanjauli, when they reached near Dhingu gate near Sanjauli Bazar then suddenly a swift car No.HP 63C 3838 came with rash and negligent driving in wrong side and after hit her, collide in the shop. She has sustained injury. Case is being investigating by the HC Lalit I/O PP Sanjauli.

3.   Assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty: Case FIR No. 47/19 Dt.24.07.19 U/S 341 186 506 IPC has been registered at PS Nerwa on the statement of Sh. Subhash Chand (Driver HRTC) alleged therein that on 23.07.2019 he was on bus route duty from Shatal to Nerwa. On the way a person namely Surat Ram S/O Sh Lekh Ram R/O Shatal PO Halau Tehsil Nerwa obstructed the road, started to abuse him and threatened them with dire consequences. Case is being investigating by HC Ankush I/O PS Nerwa.    

4.  During last 24 hours 795 vehicles challaned under MV Act 333 compounded, 07 person's challaned under Smoking Act & 02 challan under Mining Act.
