Crime Report on 3rd July 2019

1. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 52/19 dated 02.07.19 U/S 18, 20 ND&PS Act PS Jhakhri on the ruka of Insp/SHO PS Jhakhri Shimla alleged therein that on 02.07.2019 he along with staff were on Nakabandi and patrolling duty at Jhakhri. During duty they intercepted two persons namely Mr Ankit Narwal S/O Sh Krishan Narwal R/O 669/1 Vishal Nagar Opp D-2 M Hotel New Bus stand Rohtak and Harish Negi S/O Sh. Ravinder Negi R/O VPO & Tehsil Sangla Distt. Kinnaur and recovered 8 gram Chitta/Heroin & 01 gram charas from their possession. Case is being investigated by HC Diwan I/O PS Jhakhri.
2. A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 119/19 has been registered at PS Theog on 02.07.2019 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh Geeta Ram, Sh Ram Lal Sons of Ram Lal R/o village Dumahar (Lawali) P/o Cheog District Shimla alleging therein that some persons have froudently transferred his land in their own name. The case is being investigated by I/O PS Theog.
3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 36/19 has been regiatered at PS Nankhari on 02.07.2019 U/S 279,337 IPC on the rukka of HC Devinder Nath I/o PS Nankhari alleging therein that on 02.07.2019 a vehicle No. HP 10A 4668 Alto met with an accident in which one person sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Devinder Nath I/o PS Nankhari.
4. During last 24 hours 884 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded =178, 05 persons challaned under Smoking Act, 01 Challan under mining Act.

Follow Up:-

(i)       Mr Ankit Narwal S/O Sh Krishan Narwal R/O 669/1 Vishal Nagar Opp D-2 M Hotel New Bus stand Rohtak and (ii) Harish Negi S/O Sh. Ravinder Negi R/O VPO & Tehsil Sangla Distt. Kinnaur have been arrested in case FIR No.52/19 dated 02.07.2019 U/S 18, 20 ND&PS Act at PS Jhakri remanded in Police custody up to 04.07.2019.

Recovery

(i)             In case FIR No.51/19 dated 30.06.2019 U/S 457, 380 IPC accused Ishu Mattu S/o Sh Sanjay Kumar R/o Gupta Niwas, Near DAV School sector-4, New Shimla belongs from Morinda Punjab has been arrested and case property sum of Rs 1,60,000/- recovered from Morinda Punjab by PS New Shimla..
