Crime Report on May 29, 2018

1.    AN ND&PS case FIR No. 98/18 Dt. 29.05.18 U/S 18-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Theog has been registered on the rukka of ASI Mehandi Hassan, I/O PS Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 28.05.2018 at about 10-30 PM, during patrolling/collection of intelligence regarding illicit trading of drugs alongwith staff, one vehicle No. HP09B-6002 alongwith driver namely  Jeet Ram S/o Sh. Deewan Singh R/o Village Odd PO Sarog Tehsil Theog Shimla, age 24 years, stopped by them for checking at Bagadi More near Sarog Gali. During the searching of vehicle, 2.046 Kg. Opium and cash Rs. 36,000/- recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Mehandi Hassan, I/O PS Theog.

2.    A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 65/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 28.05.2018 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Desh Lal Gautam S/o Sh. Sukha Nand R/O VPO Gaura Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that he had invested amounting to Rs. 58,79,340/- in TATA AIA company from 28.03.2014 to 25.08.2015. When he went to the office of above company to withdraw his money/fund, said company refused to released his money/fund and cheated him. The case is being investigated by insp/SHO Ravinder Negi PS Rampur.

3.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No.97/18 has been registered at PS Sadar on 28.05.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Vikrant Guleria S/o Sh. Lalit Singh Guleria R/o Village Pajehari PO Talyad Tehsil Sadar Mandi stated therein that on 28.05.2018 at about     03-30 PM, when he alongwith his wife was searching the hotel for a night stay at Cart Raod Shimla, at the same time a vehicle No. UP16-BD-4398 (i-20) came rashly with negligent driving and crushed the foot of his wife near Panchayat Bhawan Shimla and run away from the spot by left his vehicle. The case is being investigated by ASI Rajesh, I/O PS Sadar. 

4.    AN ACCIDENT case FIR No. 98/18 dated 29.05.2018 u/s 279 IPC has been registered at PS Dhalli on statement of Sh. Anil Kumar S/o Sh. Roop Dass R/o Mahadev Niwas Malyana Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 28.05.2018 he was parked his vehicle No. HP06A-3402(K-10) near his house at Power house. Today morning at about 08-30 AM one tipper No. HP 64-4680 driven by Bhola Dutt S/o Sh. Tara chand came rashly and negligently and hit 03 vehicles alongwith his vehicle. The case is being investigated by HC Teja Singh I.O PS Dhalli.  

5.    AN UNLAWFUL ASSEMBLY: Case FIR No. 132/18 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 28.05.2018 U/S 341 143 IPC on the rukka of Insp./SHO PS Shimla West alleging therein that on 28.05.2018 at about 07-50 PM, 25/30 persons blocked the National Highway for half an hour, and shouted slogans due to non-supply of drinking water at Boileauganj area. The case is being investigated by ASI Pratap, I/O PS Shimla West.

6.    AN UNLAWFUL ASSEMBLY case FIR No. 135/18 dated 29.05.2018 u/s 341,143 IPC has been registered at PS West on the rukka of ASI Amrinder Singh I,O PS West alleging therein that today 20/30 persons organized dharna at Boileagunj in protest against non supply of water and sat on the road and obstructed the traffic. The case is being investigated by ASI Amrinder Singh I.O PS West.

7.    USED CRIMINAL FORCE TO DETER PUBLIC SERVANT TO PERFORM HIS GOVT. DUTY: Case FIR No. 133/18 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 29.05.2018 U/S 353 332 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Anil Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Sita Ram R/o Village & PO Nawahi Tehsil Sarkaghat District Mandi stated therein that he is driver in HRTC Shimla. On 28.05.2018, he was on route duty from Chandigarh to Reckongpeo. As he reached near Patrol Pump Bypass, he asked the driver of vehicle No. HP62-5067 which was on the middle of road. On this 4 persons came out from the above vehicle and pulled him outside from the bus and beaten him brutally during performing his govt. duty. The case is being investigated by HC Prakash Chand, I/O PS Shimla West. 

8.    AN EXCISE ACT case FIR No. 58/18 dated 29.05.2018 u/s 39(1) HP Excise act has been registered at PS Chopal on the rukka of ASI Ramesh Kumar I.O PS Chopal alleging therein that   during patrolling alongwith staff at Khagna Pul he stopped a truck No. HP 64-0973 for checking. During checking of vehicle he recovered 64 boxes of country liquor from the truck. The case is being investigated by ASI Ramesh Kuamr I.O PS Chopal.

9.    AN EXCISE ACT case FIR No. 99/18 dated 29.05.2018 u/s 39(1) HP Excise act has been registered at PS Theog on the rukka of ASI Chet Ram I.O PS Theog alleging therein that today he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty. During patrolling he received an information of illegal selling of liquor and searched the house of one lady at Janahan, Theog and recovered 05 boxes of country liquor from her possession The case is being investigated by  ASI Chet Ram I.O PS Theog. 

10. AN EXCISE ACT case FIR No. 28/18 dated 28-05-2018 u/s 39 HP Excise Act has been registered at PS Kotkhai on the rukka of SI/SHO Parmjeet saini alleging therein that on 28.05.2018 on the secret information he raided in the house of one lady V.P.O Mahasu and recovered 04 box of country liquor and 1 Box of Beer from her possession . The case is being investigated by SI/ SHO Parmjeer Saini .

11. A Trespass case FIR No. 62/18 dated 29.05.2018 u/s 451,323,34 IPC has been registered at PS East on the statement of Sh. Harvinder Singh S/o Late Sh. Hari Singh R/o Hari Saran Niwas Kasumpti Shimla alleging therein that 3/4 days ago the J.E. of IPH department closed the water connection of Sohan Lal. Today at about 01-15 PM Sohan Lal alongwith his son and wife came inside his house and asked him why he closed his water connection and beaten him. The case is being investigated by HC Parmod Kumar I.O PP Kasumpti PS East.

12. During last 24 hours 267 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 152 fine realized Rs. 68,500/-, 45 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 4600/-

FOLLOW UP

1.    Accused Guman Singh S/o Sh. Lachhi Ram R/o Village Prem Nagar, PO Turan, Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla, age 41 years arrested in case FIR No 96/18 dated 26.05.18 U/S 20,21-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli remanded in Judicial Custody by the Ld. Court.

2.    Accused Ajay Bahadur Khadka S/o Sh Kanshi Ram Khadka R/o village Lah P/o Dalli Distt. Jajharkot Anchal Beri Nepal age 32 years A/p C/o Jagdish Village. Kachhi P.O Kelvi Tehsil Theog Distt.Shimla HP arrested in case FIR No. 95/18 dated 25-05-18 U/S 376,506 IPC & section 4 of POCSO Act PS Theog remanded in Judicial Custody by the Ld court.

3.    Accused Sandeep Nirala S/o Sh. Krishan Lal r/o Kashaini PO Tikker Teh. Rohru Distt. Shimla HP age 33 Years arrested in case Fir No. 71/18 Dt. 26/05/18 U/S 354, 354(D) & 506 IPC at PS Rohru is being produced before Ld. Court

4.    Accused Jeet Ram S/o Sh. Deewan Singh R/o Village Odd PO Sarog Tehsil Theog Shimla, age 24 years arrested in case FIR No. 98/18 Dt. 29.05.18 U/S 18-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Theog is being produced before Ld. Court.
