Crime Report on 10 May. 2018

1.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 51/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 09.05.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Sunny Guleria, SHO PS Kumarsain alleging therein that on 09.05.2018, during patrolling alongwith staff, one Alto Car No. HP06A-8380 stopped by them for checking. During the search, 30 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Una No.-1 recovered from the above vehicle under the possession of  Rakesh Kumar R/o Kumarsain, Shimla. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Kumarsain.  

2.    A GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 64/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 09.05.2018 U/S 13-3-67 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Vijay Kumar, I/O PS Rohru alleging therein that on 09.05.2018 at about 04-00 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff towards Nalu (Mahendli), five persons namely Panna Lal, Rakesh Kumar, Bhupender Singh, Amrit Singh, Sikender Kumar apprehended by them during playing gambling in public place at Nalu (Mahendli) and recovered Rs. 24070/-from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Vijay Kumar, I/O PS Rohru.

3.    A GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 30/18 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 09.05.2018 U/S 13-3-67 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PS Jubbal, Shimla alleging therein that on 09.05.2018, during patrolling alongwith staff at Patsari, 08 persons namely Dila Ram, Hans Raj, Narender Singh, Surender, Rajinder Singh, Yugal Singh, Chain Ram and Gian Chand apprehended by them during playing gambling in public place at Patsari and recovered 2,270/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PS Jubbal.

4.    A Rioting case FIR No. 81/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 10-05-2018 u/s 341,143 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Vinod Kumar work Inspector HRTC Dhalli alleging therein that today at 11-00AM the workers of block Congress Committee blocked the road at Dhalli chowk out side the Regional office of HRTC and jammed the traffic for one hours They demanded the regular bus services on 17 routes approximately. The case is being investigated by ASI Sukesh Kumar I.O PS Dhalli.

5.  A PDP Act case FIR no. 65/18 dated 10/05/2018 u/s 3 of PDP has been registered on the application of Executive Engineer NH Division HPPWD Theog alleging therein that some people are dumping the excavated material on the the road from Hatkoti to Rohru Bazaar and damaging the road surface W-Metal beam crash barrier. The case is being investigated by SI Ranjeet Singh I/O PS Rohru. 

6.    During last 24 hours 450 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 113 fine realized Rs. 70,900/-, 32 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 3,300/- and 05  Challaned under Mining Act & Fine realized Rs. 4,500/-

1.    Accused Harka Bahadur S/o Sh. Veerman R/o Village Gottam Kot District Rukkam, Nepal A/P C/o Nikka Ram R/o Village Bathara PO Shadhar Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, age 25 years, arrested in case FIR No. 43/18 Dt. 05.05.2018 U/S 302 201 IPC at PS Jhakri, remanded in Judicial custody by the Ld. Court.

2.    Accused i) Mukesh Sharma S/o Lt. Mukand Lal Sharma R/o Village Johad PO Jharag, Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla, age 22 years & ii) Sidharth Sood S/o Sh. Sandeep Sood R/o Village Sood Building PO Junga PS Dhalli Tehsil & District Shimla, age 22 years, arrested case FIR No. 50/18 U/S 379 IPC at PS Shimla-East, remanded in police custody upto 11.05.2018, by the Ld. Court.

3.    Accused Prashant Gupta S/o Sh. Rajesh Kumar R/o Village & PO Sadhot Tehsil Sarkaghat District Mandi, age 21 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 114/18 Dt. 07.05.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Shimla West, remanded in Judicial Custody by the Ld. Court.

4.    Accused Nikku Ram S/o Sh. Laxmi Dass R/o Village & PO Mashobra, Tehsil & District Shimla, age 55 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 80/18 Dt. 07.05.2018 U/S 07.05.2018 U/S 354A 376 452 IPC & Sec. 4 POCSO Act at PS Dhalli,  remanded in Judicial Custody by the Ld. Court.
