Crime Report on 08 May, 2018

1.   A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 54/18 has been registered at PS Shimla East on  07.05.18 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Puran No. 128, I/O Special Investigation Unit, Shimla alleging therein that on 07.05.2018, during patrolling alongwith staff at Clliffon Estate near Timber House, one person namely Krishna @ Gujjar S/o Sh. Chaman Chauhan R/o Village Bhadoli PO Churag Tehsil Karsog District Mandi, age 26 years intercepted by them and  during the search, 30 Gram Charas recovered from his possession. Accused has been released by issuing the notice U/S 41A Cr.PC and The case is being investigated by HC Puran No. 128, I/O SIU Shimla.  

2.   A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 114/18 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 07.05.18 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Surjeet Singh, I/O PS Shimla-West alleging therein that on 07.05.2018 at about 09-00 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff at Ram Nagar, one person namely Prashant Gupta S/o Sh. Rajesh Kumar R/o Village & PO Sadhot Tehsil Sarkaghat District Mandi, age 21 years intercepted by them and 145 Gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Surjeet Singh, I/O PS West.

3.   During last 24 hours 431 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 191 fine realized Rs. 77,400/- and 17 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1700/-

FOLLOW UP

1.  Accused Shiva S/o Sh. Shyam Lal R/o Village Nanur PO Jalilpur, Tehsil Bijnour, UP, arrested in case FIR No. 82/18 Dt. 03.05.2018 U/S 302 34 IPC at PS Sadar, is remanded in Judicial custody by the Ld. Court

2. Accused Harka Bahadur S/o Sh. Veerman R/o Village Gottam Kot District Rukkam, Nepal A/P C/o Nikka Ram R/o Village Bathara PO Shadhar Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, age 25 years, arrested in case FIR No. 43/18 Dt. 05.05.2018 U/S 302 201 IPC at PS Jhakri, is remanded in police custody upto 10.05.2018, by the Ld. Court.

3.   Accused i) Mukesh Sharma S/o Lt. Mukand Lal Sharma R/o Village Johad PO Jharag, Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla, age 22 years & ii) Sidharth Sood S/o Sh. Sandeep Sood R/o Village Sood Building PO Junga PS Dhalli Tehsil & District Shimla, age 22 years, arrested case FIR No. 50/18 U/S 379 IPC at PS Shimla-East, are remanded in police custody upto 10.05.2018, by the Ld. Court.

4. Accused Prashant Gupta S/o Sh. Rajesh Kumar R/o Village & PO Sadhot Tehsil Sarkaghat District Mandi, age 21 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 114/18 Dt. 07.05.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Shimla West, is being produced before Ld. Court.

5.   Accused Nikku Ram S/o Sh. Laxmi Dass R/o Village & PO Mashobra, Tehsil & District Shimla, age 55 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 80/18 Dt. 07.05.2018 U/S 07.05.2018 U/S 354A 376 452 IPC & Sec. 4 POCSO Act at PS Dhalli, is remanded in police custody upto 10.05.2018, by the Ld. Court.
