Crime Report on May 12, 2018

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 83/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 11.05.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the complaint of Dr. Rohit Sharma R/o Sun View Cottage Cemetery Road Sanjauli Shimla alleging therein that on 11.05.2018 at about 04-50 PM, he was coming to Sanjauli from Kufri in his bicycle.   As he reached near Hussan Valley curve, at the same time, a Red Colour vehicle (Datsun)  came rashly with negligent driving from Dhalli side and hit his bicycle and run away from the spot. In this accident, he sustained multiple injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Prakash, I/O PS Dhalli.

2.  During last 24 hours 335 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 240 fine realized Rs. 95,500/- and 26 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,600/-.

FOLLOW UP

1.    Accused i) Sunil Kumar @ Kaku S/o Sh. Jagat Singh R/o Village & PO Ladror Tehsil Bhoranu District Hamirpur, age 28 years  and ii) Sanjeev Kumar @ Sanju @ Bangali S/o Lt. Sh. Prakash Chand R/o Village & PO Jahu Tehsil & PS Bharanj District Hamirpur, age 41 years, arrested in case FIR No. 48/18 Dt. 26.04.2018 U/S 379 IPC at PS Shimla-East, are remanded in Police Custody upto 14.05.2018, by the Ld. Court.
