Crime Report on May 24, 2018

1. AN ASSAULT OR CRIMINAL FORCE TO DETER PUBLIC SERVANT FROM DISCHARGE OF HIS DUTY: Case FIR No. 48/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri today on 24.05.2018 U/S 353 332 504 506 34 IPC on the complaint of Ward Member, Ward No. 4, Gram Panchayat Fancha, Tehsil Ramplur, Shimla alleging therein that construction of Path is on progress in Ward No. 4 at village Kapni under MANREGA scheme. Today i.e. on 24.05.2018, when she was checking the construction work, at the same two persons namely Bahadur Singh and Bhagwan Dass S/o Sh. Swarnu came there and obstructed the construction work of path. They have started to abuse her, beaten her brutally during performing her govt. duty and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Jagdish Kumar, I/O PP Jeori.
2. During last 24 hours 483 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 174 fine realized Rs. 84,600/-, 34 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2500/- and 01 Challaned under Mining Act & fine realized Rs. 7,500/-.
