Crime Repot Aug. 05, 2017

1.      AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 140/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 05.08.2017 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Rajender S/o Sh. Sita Ram Thakur R/o Village & PO Matal, Tehsil Chopal Distt. Shimla, age 47 years alleging therein that on 04.08.2017, he loaded apple in Bolero Pick-Up No. HP62A-3630, driven by Suesh S/o Sh. Virender R/o Village & PO Matal. At about 04-00 PM, he alongwith Rahul brother of driver Suresh were going towards Parwanoo in above Pick-Up. At about 09-30 PM, when they reached near Naina, above Pick-Up met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Suresh Kumar & rolled down 90 meter from the road. In this accident Rahul Kumar has been died and they both sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Chet Ram, I/C PP Deha, (Theog).

2.      AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 48/17 has been registered at PS Jubbal Dt. 05.08.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sheela Devi W/o Sh. Kishori Lal R/o Virat Nagar, Tehsil Jubbal, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that one Eicher Truck No. HR69B-4554 driven by driver Rajinder came rashly in wrong direction and hit with another Truck No. HR68-8803 which was parked on roadside  near Prahatpulin. In this accident, cleaner Satveer R/o Sonipat, Haryana has been died during treatment at IGMC Shimla and driver Rajinder  sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Gopal Singh, I/O PP Sarswati Nagar, Jubbal.

3.      During last 24 hours 401 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 195 & fine realized Rs. 75,800/- and 16 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 1,600/-.
