Crime Report on August 25, 2017

1.      AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 154/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 24.08.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Rampal, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 23/24.08.2017 at about 01-30 AM, during patrolling alongwith staff one person namely Balvinder S/o Sh. Mahender Pal R/o Labour Hostel, near Love-Kush Chowk Krishna Nagar apprehended by them near Ghoda Hospital, Cart Road Shimla and recovered 12 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Una No. 1 from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Rampal, I/O PS Sadar.

2.      AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 155/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 24.08.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Lachhami Singh, I/O PS Shimla Sadar alleging therein that on 24.08.2017 at about 06-50 PM, during patrolling along with staff on Cart Road- Subji Mandi road, one person namely Pala Ram S/o Sh. Ram Krishan R/o Dhara below Gurudwara Cart Road, Gaddi Khana Krishna Nagar, Shimla apprehended by them alongwith 12 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Una No. 1. The case is being investigated by ASI Lachhami Singh, I/O PS Shimla Sadar.

3.      AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 156/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 24.08.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Radhe Shyam, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla alleging therein that on 24.08.2017 at about 08-15 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Kishan Thapa S/o Sh. Padam R/o Shahtala, Distt. Dailak, Anchal Beri Nepal, age 25 years apprehended by them near Ganj Bazar, Shimla and recovered 12 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Una No. 1 from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Radhe Shyam, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla.  

4.      AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 64/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 24.08.2017 U/S  39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Kuldeep Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that on 24.08.2017 at about 06-00 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff village Jitata, one person namely Sohan Singh R/o Village Chiwari PO Masli, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla apprehended by them with 08 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Una No. 1. The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon.

5.      During last 24 hours 645 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 178 & fine realized Rs. 75,600/-, 22 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 2,400/- and 05 Challaned under Mining Act and fine realized Rs. 34,000/-    

FIRE INCIDENT

1.     On 24.08.2017 at about 08-15 PM, fire incident took place in the house of Sh. Jawahar Lal S/o Sh. Kirpa Ram R/o Gagar, PO Pudag, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla due to electric short circuit. Due to fire 16 rooms with house hold articles burnt totally. 

FOLLOW-UP

1.      Accused Shubham S/o Sh. Goverdhan Singh R/O Village Karchari PO Sharontha Teh. Rohru Distt Shimla, age 22 years, arrested in case FIR No. 88/17 Dt. 15.08.2017 U/S 302 IPC at PS Rohru, today remanded in judicial custody for 14 days, by the Ld. Court.

2.      Accused Fakeer Dass S/o Sh. Tarsem Lal R/o Village Mangla Bhawan, Sector-3, New Shimla, age 23 years, arrested in case FIR No. 10817 Dt. 23.08.2017 U/S 379 IPC at PS New Shimla, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.
