Crime Report on August 09, 2017

1.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 142/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 08.08.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Hem Raj, I/C Police Chowki Matiyana, Theog alleging therein that on 08.08.2017 at about 06-20 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff at Teer near Matiyana, one vehicle No. HP09C-3237 (Bolero) alongwith driver namely Madan Lal S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/o Village Nawan (Karyali) PO Matiyana Tehsil District Shimla, age 43 years intercepted by them and recovered 70 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Hem Raj, I/C PP Matiyana.

2.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 104/17 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 08.08.2017 U/S 279 304A has been registered on the statement of Smt. Sita Sharma W/o Sh. Sunil Kumar Sharma R/o Village Badagaon PO Rajhana Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, age 51 years alleging therein that on 08.08.2017 at about 04-05 PM, she alongwith her Aunty Sarla Devi was going to Badagaon in HRTC Bus No. HP66-1918.  When they were deboarding from the above Bus at Badagaon, at the same time Bus conductor Jaivinder Singh blew the whistled.  On this, Bus driver Yashwant Singh drive the bus and her aunty Sarla Devi fell down on the road and crushed with rear tire and died on the spot.

3.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 59/17 has been registered at PS Sunni on 08.08.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Pyar Chand S/o Lt. Sh. Chandu Ram R/o Village Nurahali PO Barthi Tehsil Barthi Tehsil Ghumarwin Distt. Bilaspur, age 52 years alleging therein that on 21.07.2017 at about 08-15 AM, one Pick-Up No. HP63A-4311, driven by Kapil Sharma S/o Lt. Sh. Keshav Ram R/o Village Nahewat PO Pahal Tehsil Sunni, Shimla, hit him from back side, caused sustained injuries to him. On this, two persons namely Mela Ram & Vipin brought him to IGMC Shimla, where he was remain under treatment. The case is being investigated by ASI Shiv Kumar, I/O PP Sunni.

4.     A CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST: Case FIR No. 142/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 09.08.2017 U/S 406 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Gian Chand Sangroli A/P Sub-Division Manager in HRTC Taradevi Depot Shimla alleging therein that, one Mr. Hem Raj S/o Sh. Gupt Ram R/o Village Kadog, PO Basantpur, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla, who was working at Bus Conductor under Skill Development Scheme, has not deposited cash ammouting to Rs. 10297/- & ETM machine/Tickets and absconding from 29.06.2017. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder Kumar, I/O PS West.   

5.     During last 24 hours 222 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 142 & fine realized Rs. 55,900/- and 21 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 2,200/-.

1.   Accused Madan Lal S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/o Village Nawan (Karyali) PO Matiyana Tehsil District Shimla, age 43 years, arrested in case FIR No. 142/17 Dt. 08.08.17 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Theog, is remanded in police custody upto 10.08.2017, by the Ld. Court.
