Crime Report on August 24, 2017

1.      AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 35/17 has been registered at PS Nerwa today on 24.08.2017 U/S 39(1) HP Excise Act on the Rukka of SI/SHO Kulwant Singh, SHO PS Nerwa, Shimla  alleging therein that  on the secret information,  they recovered  192 bottles of illicit Country Liquor marka Santra No 1 from the possession of Devi Ram S/O Lt. Sh. Maun Ram R/O Village Choud Basa PO Tharoch Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla HP. The case is  being Investigated by SI/SHO PS Nerwa.

2.      AN ACCIDENT: Case  FIR  No 36/17 has been registered at PS Nerwa today on 24.08.2017 U/S 279,337, 304(A) IPC on the statement of Kumari Madhu Sisodia D/O Sh. Laiq Ram Sisodia R/o Village Kutangan PO Tharoch Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla HP  stated therein that today on 24.08.2017,  she alongwith 10 other passengers, was coming from  Bharanu to Nerwa in Vehicle No HP 62-2968 (Bolero Jeep ). At about 10-00 am, when they reached near Chadwa Dhar (Chounri), above vehicle met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Ashok Diwan S/O Sh Hari om Village Kutha P/O Throch Tehsil Chopal  Distt Shimla  and rolled down from the road. In this accident  one lady  namely Kanta Devi W/o Sh.  Sohan lal  R/O Tharoch died on the spot and other 10 persons  namely i) Ashok Diwan S/O Sh Hari om Village Kutha P/O Throch Tehsil Chopal  Distt Shimla  (DVR) 2. Jugdish S/O Lt sh Annat ram village throch 3. Karan S/O Sh Bhim Singh R/O Shilla P/O Bharanu 4. Bhim Singh S/O Uday Singh R/O Village Shilla P/O Bharnu 5. Kamla W/O  Jagdish village throch Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla HP. 6. Dulat Ram S/O Lt Sh Jatu Ram  village throch .7 Nisha W/O Vinod R/O Village Tharoch  8. Suresh Kumar S/O Raniya Ram R/O Village & P/O Bharnu Tehsil Chopal 9. Binta W/O Mohan lal village throch and  10.   Kumari Madhu Sisodia D/O Sh Laiq Ram Sisodia Village Kutangan P/O Tharoch Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla HP, sustained injuries. The case is investigated by ASI Kamlender Singh I/O PS Nerwa.      

3.      A CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST: Case FIR No. 149/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 23.08.2017 U/S 407 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ankit Shandil S/o Sh. Lekh Ram R/o Village & PO Balag, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 19.08.2017, he loaded apple boxes from Village Satandali in his Truck No. HP63-4196 (Eicher) bearing Engine No. E483DAH2395418 & Chassis No. MC263ERCOAH206248, driven by Ravi Sharma R/o Village Bached Baag, Tehsil Dadahu Distt. Sirmaur and sent towards (Panchkula) Chandigarh and gave him  Rs. 9000/- in advance. But above truck was not reached in destination and mobile of truck driver is also coming switched off. He doubts that driver Ravi Sharma has runaway with truck and betrayed him. The case is being investigated by ASI Chet Ram, I/C PP Deha, Theog.

4.      A THEFT: Case FIR No. 108/17 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 23.08.2017 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sandeep Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Prem Dass R/o Village Chaknahat PO Shardaghat Tehsil Kandaghat, Distt. Solan, age 36 years alleging therein that on 20.08.2017 at 10-00, he parked his Scooty No. HP14C-1833 near Atithi Sweet Shop, BCS Shimla in front of Maruti Car No. HP09C-1026, in which some boys were sit inside. In the evening of 21.08.2017, when he came there and found missing his scooty from there. He doubts that the boys, who were sit inside the Maruti car have stolen away his Scooty. Above Scooty has been recovered & accused Fakeer Dass arrested by the police in this case. The case is being investigated by HC Anil Kumar, I/O PS New Shimla.

5.      During last 24 hours 273 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 171 & fine realized Rs. 75,100/-, 13 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 1,300/- and 02 Challaned under Mining Act, compounded 01 and fine realized Rs. 7,000/-  

FOLLOW-UP

1.      Accused i) Chhattar Bahadur Shahi S/o Sh. Bhadar Bahadur Shahi, age 18 years and ii) Depinder Vishavekaram  S/o Sh. Sher Vishavekarma, age 19 years both are the resident of Ward No. 8, Village & PO Barla PS Vinayak Anchal Shati District Acham Nepal A/P C/o Chaman Lal Sharma R/o Village Jai-garh Tehsil Chopal, in case FIR No. 47/17 Dt. 18.08.2017 U/S 457, 380 IPC at PS Chopal, are remanded in judicial Custody by the Ld. Court.

2.      Accused Shubham S/o Sh. Gowardhan Singh R/O Karchari PO Sharontha Teh. Rohru Distt Shimla, age 22 years, arrested in case FIR No. 88/17 Dt. 15.08.2017 U/S 302 IPC at PS Rohru, remanded in police custody upto 25.08.2017, by the Ld. Court.

3.      Accused Fakeer Dass S/o Sh. Tarsem Lal R/o Village Mangla Bhawan, Sector-3, New Shimla, age 23 years, arrested in case FIR No. 10817 Dt. 23.08.2017 U/S 379 IPC at PS New Shimla, today remanded in police custody upto 25.08.2017, by the Ld. Court.
