Crime Report on August,07, 2017

1.    An Excise Act : case FIR No 99/17 has been registered at PS East on 07.08.2017 U/S 39(1) HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Om Prakash I/o O PS East alleging therein that on 06.08.2017 during patrolling at Dhobi Ghat along with staff he recovered 12 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Sanjeev Lal S/o Late Sh Sunder Lal R/o village Sadhana Ghati Tehsil and District Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Om Prakash I/O PS East. 

2.    A wrongful restraint : case FIR No 83/17 has been registered at PS Rohru on 06.08.2017 U/S 341,323,504,34 IPC on the application of Kishor Fista S/O Kundan Lal Fista R/O Village Bhalara P/o Kui Teh Rohru Distt Shimla H.P  alleging therein that  on  06.08.2017 near about 7:00 AM when he was going to his apple orchard a person namely Amrit Singh along with his family members obstructed his way and beaten him brutally. They also abused him. The case is being investigated by SI /Addl SHO Ranjeet Singh I/O PS Rohru.

3.    A wrongful restraint : case FIR No 84/17 has been registered at PS Rohru on 06.08.2017 u/s 341,323,506 IPC on the application of Rakesh S/O Sh. Chet Ram R/O VPO Samra Teh Rohru Distt Shimla H.P  alleging therein that on 06.08.2017 at about 04:30 PM when he was going back to his home his elder brother Lekh Raj obstructed his way and abused him. He also beaten him brutally and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Rajinder  I/O PP Tikker.

4.    A wrongful restraint : case FIR No 23/17 has been registered at PS Kupvi on 06.08.2017 u/s 341,323,506 IPC on the application of Sh Balbir Singh S/O Sh. R/o Village Bagi Tehsil Kupvi Distt Shimla H.P  alleging therein that on 06.08.2017 when he was going to Gram Panchyat Charoli  a person namely Tapender S/o Sh Laiq R/o village Kandabhan obstructed his way and abused him. He also beaten him brutally and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Sat Pal Sharma I/O PS Kupvi.

5.    A wrongful restraint : case FIR No 24/17 has been registered at PS Kupvi on 06.08.2017 u/s 341,323,506 IPC on the application of Sh Tapender S/o Sh Laiq R/o village Kandabhan Tehsil Kapvi Distt Shimla alleging alleging therein that on 06.08.2017 a person namely Balbir Singh S/O Sh.Dulla Ram  R/o Village Bagi Tehsil Kupvi Distt Shimla H.P along with Anil R/o village Bagi obstructed his way and abused him. He also beaten him brutally and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Satish Kumar I/O PS Kupvi.

6.    An Attempt of burglary : case FIR NO 141/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 07.08.2017 U/S 457,511,427 IPC on the complaint of Kailash Chander Branch Manager (Officiating) SBI Fagu, Currently posted at SBI Sanjauli Resident of B-135, Sector 3 New Shimla (HP), alleging therein that in the intervening night of 05/06 August some unscrupulous person(s) attempted to steal the cash from SBI Fagu, branch code-51277. The miscreant(s) destroyed the bank's property and tried to open the cash vault. Approximate loss of property may be around 30-35 thousand. The case is being investigated by ASI Brij  Lal I/C PP Fagu.

7.    During last 24 hours 199 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 99 & fine realized Rs. 37,300/- and 27 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 2,800/-.
