Crime Report on August 29, 2017

1.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 152/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 28.08.2017 U/S 18-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Brij Lal, I/C PP Fagu, Shimla alleging therein that on 28.08.2017, during traffic checking alongwith staff at Mountain View Lambidhar, one vehicle No. HP09C-3366 (Eon) alongwith driver Dinesh Verma @ Vicky S/o Sh. Inder Singh R/o Village Shirgal (Dewarighat) PO Thana, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 30 years stopped by them for checking and during search of vehicle 498 gram Opium recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Brij Lal, I/C PP Fagu, Theog.

2.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 96/17 has been registered at PS Rohru on 29.08.2017 U/S 39(i)(a) HP Excise Act on the statement of HC Vijay Kumar No. 44 I/O PS Rohru alleging therein that today on 29.08.2017 at about 01-40 AM, during investigation of case FIR No. 95/17, when he alongwith staff was present at village Seema,  A Pick Up No. HP 63A-4066 driven By Surender Kumar stopped by them for checking and recovered 31 Boxes of country liquor Marka UNA No-1 from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Ranjeet Singh I/O PS Rohru.

3.    A FOREST ACT: Case FIR No. 151/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 28.08.2017 U/S 447 IPC & 33 The Indian Forest Act on the complaint of Forest Range officer, Forest Range Theog alleging therein that one person namely Uddi Ram S/o Sh. Laganu Ram R/o Village Cheeng, Tehsil Theog, Shimla has illegally constructed the 440 meter long & 2.50 feet (approx. 1100 Sq. mtr) road in forest area. On this, Forest Guard, Juggu Beat had issued a complaint against the above person on 09.07.2017 and closed the above road  by putting the fencing wire and plantation of plants. On 27.08.2017, above person again constructed 80 meter long road by removing the fencing wire and also destroyed the plants.

4.    A RIOTING: Case FIR No. 121/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 28.08.2017 U/S 341, 323, 506, 149 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sahil S/o Sh. Narjeet Singh R/o Village & PO Reckong Peo, Distt. Kinnaur, age 18 years A/p residing in Hostel, Govt. College Sanjauli, Shimla stated therein that on 16.08.2017 at about 02-00 PM, when he alongwith his friends was visiting outside the college, at the same time Akshit, Gaurav, Gulshan, Happy & Musafir Chauhan restrained their way, beaten him brutally and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by SI Virochan Negi, I/C PP Sanjauli, Shimla.

5.    A RIOTING: Case FIR No. 122/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 28.08.2017 U/S 341 323 147 148 149 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Musafir Chauhan S/o Sh. Rajender Singh R/o Village & PO Khadahan Tehsil & PS Rampur, Shimla, age 19 years A/P student of BA 1^st Sem. at GDC Sanjauli Shimla alleging therein that  on 16-08-2017 at about 02-00 PM when he alongwith Musafir Chauhan and other was present outside the gate of college at the same time some boys namely Sahil Abhishek, Munish, Rahul, Tovinder and others obstructed their way and beaten them. The case is being investigated by SI Virochan Negi I/C PP Sanjauli.

6.    A RIOTING: Case FIR No. 95/17 has been registered at PS Rohru on 29.08.2017 U/S 341, 323, 147 IPC on the statement of Sh. Hem Raj Thakur S/O Late Sh. Mikham Ram Thakur R/O Village Chamrog PO Tara Devi PS Baluganj Tehsil & Distt. Shimla HP stated therein that on 28.08.2017 at about 11-00 PM, when he alongwith Mahinder and Hem Raj was going back from Rohru to Chirgaon in vehicle No. HP 14B-1956, on the way at Seema, 5-6 persons stopped their vehicle and beaten them brutally.  The Case is being investigated by HC Vijay Kumar No. 44 I/O PS Rohru.

7.    During last 24 hours 155 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 84 & fine realized Rs. 30,900/- and 18 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 2,100/-.

FOLLOW-UP

1.    Accused Gopal Chetri S/o Sh. Janak Chetri age 22 yrs R/o Village & PO Jumla, Tehsil & Distt Tattapani, Nepal arrested in case FIR No. 145/17 Dt. 17.08.2017 U/S 457, 380 IPC PS  Theog, today remanded in Judicial custody by the Ld. Court.

2.    Accused Dinesh Verma @ Vicky S/o Sh. Inder Singh R/o Village Shirgal (Dewarighat) PO Thana, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 30 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 152/17 Dt. 28.08.17 U/S 18-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Theog, is remanded in police custody upto 31.08.2017, by the Ld. Court.
