Crime Report On August 27, 2017.

1.      AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 145/17 has been registered at PS Rampur on 26.08.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC  & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Raj Kumar S/O Sh. Nihal Chand VPO Duttnagar Distt. Shimla HP that on dated 26-08-17 at about 2.55 PM one vehicle No HP 25B-0504 met with an accident at  Duttnagar.  The Vehicle hit one person on NH-05 and run away from the spot. Accident occur due to rash and negligent driving of Vehicle Driver  Deepak Sharma. Case is being investigating by HC Ram Kumar I/O PS Rampur.

2.      AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 158/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 27.08.2017 U/S 39(1)a HP Excise Act on the Rukka of ASI Mohender Lal I/o PS Sadar Shimla stated therein that today he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty towards Winterfield, Victory Tunnel & Downdale etc. when he reached Near old Bus Stand Shimla, he recovered 08 Bottles of country liquor marked as UNA NO. 1 from the possession of Chainya Ram @ Raju S/o Sh. Dina Ram R/o 79, Downdale, Phagli, Shimla. The case is investigated by ASI Mohender Lal I/o PS Sadar Shimla.

3.      A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT: Case FIR No. 66/17 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 27.08.2017 U/S 341, 323, 506, 504, 355, 34 IPC on the statement of Smt. Surmani Devi W/o Late Sh. Vidya Chand R/o Village Dummi, PO Bonda, Tehsil Rampur Shimla stated therein that on 26.08.2017 at about 06-30 PM, after bringing milk from sh. Chuni Lal’s House, when she reached Near the House of Smt. Sewati Devi. Sewati Devi Obstructed her way abused, beaten her by Sewati Devi and her family members. The case is being investigated by HC Harbans Lal, I/O PS Jhakri.

4.      A TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 53/17 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 26.06.2017 U/S 452, 341, 504, 506 IPC on the statement of Sh. Balwant Singh Jhouhtar R/o Dhar Dochi, VPO Dhar, Tehsil Jubbal, Distt Shimla, HP that on 26.08.2017 at 8.00 PM one person namely Manoranjan Jhouhta S/o Sh. Lokinder Singh Jhouhta R/o VPO Dhar, Jubbal, Distt Shimla come to his house and beaten his son with the threatening with dire consequences . In this incident his son sustained injuries. Case is being investigating by HC Ashwani I/O PS Jubbal.  

5.      During last 24 hours 298 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 126 & fine realized Rs. 49,400/- and 33 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 3,300/-.

FOLLOW-UP

1.      Accused Gopal Chetri S/o Sh. Janak Chetri age 22 yrs R/o VPO Jumla, Tehsil & Distt Tattapani, Nepal arrested in case FIR No. 145/17 dated 17-8-2017 u/s 457, 380 IPC P.S Theog, on dated 25.08.2017. Accused Gopal Chetri is on Police remand up to 29.08.2017.
