Crime Report on August 02, 2017

1.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 96/17 has been registered at PS Shimla East on 01.08.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the ASI Daleep Chand, I/O PP Kasumpti, Shimla alleging therein that on 01.08.2017 at about 09-30  PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Dinesh Kumar S/o Sh. Sher Singh R/o Village Masrani PO Badana, Tehsil Poanta Sahib, Distt. Sirmaur, age 32 years A/P residing as Tenant C/o Prabhu Niwas Panthaghati, Shimla intercepted by them on the road near Tibetan Colony Road and recovered 09 Bottles of Country liquor marka Santra from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Daleep Chand, I/O PP Kasumpti, Shimla.

2.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 136/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 01.08.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the rukka of HC Ashok Kumar, I/O PS Theog alleging therein that one vehicle bearing registration No. HP09A-4013 met with an accident near Rest House Kuthar due to rash & negligent driving of Babu Ram, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Ashok Kumar, I/O PS Theog. 

3.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 07/17 has been registered at PS Nankhari today on 02.08.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Desh Raj S/o Lt. Sh. Roop Lal R/o Village & PO Lailan Sub-Tehsil Nankhari, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 01.08.2017 at about 03-40 PM, one vehicle No. HP33-4588 met with an accident near Pandadhar due to rash & negligent driving of Sandeep Thakur S/o Sh. Hardyal Singh R/o Village & PO Lailan, Nankhari, Shimla, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by ASI Chaman Lal Negi, I/O PS Nankhari.

4.    A THEFT: Case FIR No. 138/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 02.08.2017 U/S 380 IPC on the complaint of lady alleging therein that she has a friendship with one lady R/o Village Badehari, PO Totu, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla and who was oftenly came to her house. In the year 2016, above lady has stolen away her gold ornaments i.e. one Bangle (Kada), one Necklace & a Tikka from her house. In the year 2016, she came to know that she has mortgaged the above jewelry in Mannpuram Finance Ltd. Solan, which has been identified by the complainant. The case is being investigated by SI Mast Ram, I/O PS West.       

5.    A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 82/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 01.08.2017 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of lady alleging therein that she alongwith three another ladies have invested amounting to Rs. 1,05,000/- in P.A.C.L. India Ltd. at Solan HP  regd. Office 22, 3rd Floor, Amber Tower, Sansar Chand Road, Jaipur 302004 through agent Mr. Surjeet Kumar S/o Kulla Nand R/o vill. Barogi P/o Kumarsain, Shimla (H.P). The above company failed to fulfill the commitments and cheated them by not returning their money. The case is being investigated by HC Rakesh, I/O PS Kumarsain.

6.    During last 24 hours 256 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 126 & fine realized Rs. 50,300/- and 15 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 1,500/-.    

INQUEST REPORT

1.    Deceased Mangal Bahadur S/o Sh. Shiv Lal R/o Village Lopra, PO Gabiz Dilichor, Tehsil & Distt. Jumla, Anchal Karnali Nepal, age 27 years A/P working as labourer C/o Yash Pal S/o Lt. Sh. Goverdhan Singh R/o Punnan, Nankhari Shimla, has committed suicide by hanging himself with the roof of his room. The dead body is shifted to CHC Nankhari for further legal proceeding.

FOLLOW-UP

1.    Accused i) Rati Ram S/O Sh. Jiva Nand R/o Village Shildu P.O. Panesh Tehsil & Distt. Shimla H.P. Age  57 Years, ii) Kamala W/O Rati Ram R/o Village Shildu P.O. Panesh Tehsil & Distt. Shimla H.P. Age  52 years, iii) Neeraj S/O Rati Ram R/o Village Shildu P.O. Panesh Tehsil & Distt. Shimla H.P. Age  28 years arrested in case FIR No. 137/17  Dt. 31.07.2017 U/S 498-A, 307  IPC at PS West, are remanded in Police custody upto 03.08.2017 by the Ld. Court.
