Crime Report on Aug. 04, 2017

1.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 97/17 has been registered at PS Shimla East on 03.08.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Prem Singh, I/O PS Shimla East alleging therein that on 03.08.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff on the road from Himland to Shivpur, one person namely Beli Ram S/o SH. Bajaru Ram R/o Village Baswari PO Jaamb, Tehsil Nirmand, Distt. Kullu, age 26 years A/P Thakur Niwas Shanan, PO Sanjauli Shimla, who was on the way towards Kanlog Bypass road, apprehended by them alongwith 12 Bottles of illicit Country marka Himachal orange. The case is being investigated by ASI Prem Singh, I/O PS East.

2.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 45/17 has been registered at PS Chopal on 03.08.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Rajinder Singh S/o Sh. Mangat Ram R/o Village Dochi, A/P Conductor in HRTC Bus No. HP63-5397 alleging therein that on 03.08.2017, he was going to Nerwa from Sarahan in above bus. When they reached near Nakoda pul, one Pick-up came rashly in wrong direction and hit with above Bus and run away from the spot. In this accident he sustained injuries.  The case is being investigated by HC Ankush, I/O PS Chopal.   

3.    A CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST: Case FIR No. 108/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 03.08.2017 U/S 407 120B IPC on the complaint of Sh. Daljeet Singh, Transporter, Apple Mandi, Bhattakuffar, Dhalli Shimla alleging therein that on 29.07.2017, he sent 273 apple boxes in Truck No. MP06HC-2524, driven by Laxman to Chennai, but above truck not reached at the destination till today. The case is being investigated by HC Satvinder, I/O PS Dhalli.  

4.    A THEFT: Case FIR No. 141/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 03.08.2017 U/S 380 IPC on the statement of Sh. Mad Gaurishwa Nand Puri Maharaj S/o Lt. Sh. Abhay Pada Lal R/o S.S. Jain Dharamshala, 1574/1 Main Bazar, Manimazra, Chandigarh alleging therein that he is working as Yoga & Music teacher. On the call of  of Rakesh Dabral, he came to Shiv Temple Tutikandi Shimla on 10.06.2016 to give the Yoga training.  He earned cash Rs. 60,000/- till the completion of Yoga camp. On 18.07.2016, when he check the bag and found cash Rs. 42,000/- missing from the bag. He doubts that Akhilesh Dabral S/o Sh. Adesh Dabral has committed the above theft. The case is being investigated by SI Mast Ram, I/O PS West.

5.    A BURGLARY: Case FIR No 128/17 has been registered at PS Rampur 03.08.2017 U/S 454,380 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sandeep KumarKumar S/O Sh. Shalig Ram R/o Village Racholi Tehsil Rampur Bsr Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that on 03.08.2017, some unknown person stolen away gold ornaments and cash Rs. 1500/- by breaking the lock of almirah.  The case is being investigated by SI Luder Singh I/O PS Rampur.

6.    During last 24 hours 277 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 148 & fine realized Rs. 67,200/-, 21 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 2,200/- and 01 Challaned under Mining Act.
