Crime Report on August 03, 2017

1.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 137/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 02.08.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the rukka of SI Paramjeet Saini I/O PS Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 02.08.2017, one vehicle No. HP35-3082 met with an accident at place Devi-mod due to rash & negligent driving of Sh. Khem Singh. In this accident, four persons namely driver Khem Singh, Smt. Neelam, Sh. Jawahar Sigh & Sh. Fangsu Ram, sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by SI Paramjeet Saini I/O P.S. Theog.

2.    ACT ENDANGERING LIFE OR PERSONAL SAFETY TO OTHER: Case FIR No. 139/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 02.08.2017 U/S 336, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ram Dyal S/o Sh. Shankar Lal R/o Village Satrol, PO & Tehsil Mamligh, Distt. Solan, HP A/P Officer Incharge, Govt. of India Press, near 103 Tunnel, Shimla alleging therein that on 02.08.2017 at about 11-00 AM, when he was present in his office, at the same time one deodar tree fell down on the roof of his office, caused sustained injuries to him. Above incident took place due to negligence act of Forest & CPWD department, because he had already informed them to cut the above tree, but they have not taken any action. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjay Kumar, I/O PS Shimla West.

3.    A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 140/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 03.08.2017 U/S 420 467 471 120B IPC on the complaint of Sh. Madan Thakur S/o Sh. Jai Singh Thakur R/o Village Devghodi, PO Salana, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, age 38 years alleging therein that two persons namely Mast Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Hari Singh R/o Village Lagaru, PO Anji Brahmna, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla and Padam Chand A/P working as Dozer in HP PWD Shimla Division No.-1 has prepared forgery Birth Certificate with the help of Panchayat Secretary and got govt. job. The case is being investigated by HC Maan Singh, I/O PS Shimla West.

4.    A FOREST ACT: Case FIR No. 83/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 02.08.2017 U/S 379 IPC & 32, 33 The Indian Forest Act on the complaint of Sh. Bhoru Ram A/P  Beat Forest Officer Kumarsain Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 02.08.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff, at about 07-30 PM, when they reached at Chhichad Beat and found that four trees of deodar have been cut by some unknown person and they recovered 45 logs (sleeper) from the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Mohan Guleria, PP Narkanda.

5.    During last 24 hours 382 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 165 & fine realized Rs. 71,400/- and 10 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 1,000/-.

1.    Accused i) Rati Ram S/O Sh. Jiva Nand R/o Village Shildu P.O. Panesh Tehsil & Distt. Shimla H.P. Age  57 Years, ii) Kamala W/O Rati Ram R/o Village Shildu P.O. Panesh Tehsil & Distt. Shimla H.P. Age  52 years, iii) Neeraj S/O Rati Ram R/o Village Shildu P.O. Panesh Tehsil & Distt. Shimla H.P. Age  28 years arrested in case FIR No. 137/17  Dt. 31.07.2017 U/S 498-A, 307  IPC at PS West, today remanded in judicial custody by the Ld. Court.
