Crime Report on Aug. 06, 2017

1.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 34/17 has been registered at PS Nerwa today on 06.08.2017 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC has been registered on the statement of Daud Islam S/o Sh. Hidayatullah R/o Village Kimachandrawali PO Kedi Tehsil Chopal age about  21 years alleging therein that today morning he was coming from Fedijpul to Nerwa in vehicle No HP 63 B 0886 Bolero Pick-Up which was driven by Lekh Ram S/O Sh. Kanshi Ram R/o Village Bhurali PO Dasera Tehsil Sadar Mandi Distt Mandi age about 30 years. At about 08.15 AM when they reached near Dawada, above vehicle met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Lekh Raj and  rolled down about 100 feet from the road into Shalvi Khad. In this accident Driver Lekh Ram died on the spot and he sustained injuries. The case is being investigating by ASI Ashok Kumar I/O P.S Nerwa.

2.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 49/17 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 05.08.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Govind Chhajta S/o Lt. Sh. Bahadur Singh R/o Chewa, PO Kaina, Tehsil Jubbal, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 05.08.2017 at about 03-45 PM, one Alto Car No. HP10B-0581 met with an accident near Chewa & rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Bharat Singh. In this accident, two persons namely Bharat Singh & Smt. Sunita Devi sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh, I/O PS Jubbal.

3.    During last 24 hours 318 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 160 & fine realized Rs. 60,900/- and 32 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 3,200/-.
