Crime Report On August 26, 2017.

1.      AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 153/17 has been registered at PS West on 25.08.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC  on the rukka of HC Janam Dev, I/O PP Jutogh, Shimla alleging therein that on 25.08.2017 at about 07-15 PM, one Bolero No. HR26-ZC-7514 met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Prakash & rolled down 300 feet from the road near Sharara-Kajail bifurcation. In this accident,  Prakash alongiwth two ladies Meera & Shyama sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Janam Dev, I/O PS West Shimla.

2.      A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 152/17 has been registered at PS West on 25.08.2017 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Mukesh Verma S/o Sh. Geeta Ram Verma R/o Village Makadi, PO Okharu, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, HP alleging therein that he deals with Share Market. One lady invested Rs. 3 lacs in share market through him. After some time above lady demanded to return her above amount. On this, he gave her two cheques amounting to Rs. 1 & 2 lacs respectively at Ghannahatti. On 25.08.2017, he received a message of Cheque Bounce from Bank. On this, he contact to Bank authorities and came to know that a cheque No. 000116 amounting to Rs. 13 lacs received by the bank for clearance, which has been bounced to insufficient balance in his account. He doubts that above lady has overwrite the cheque with the intention to cheat him.  

3.      A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT: Case FIR No. 65/17 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 25.08.2017 U/S 341, 323, , 427, 34 IPC on the application of Kamal S/o Sh. Gokul Ram R/o Village Fanothi PO Dhargaura Tehsil Rampur Shimla stated therein that on 24.08.2017 at about 09-30 PM, after attended local fair, he alongwith his friend Santosh Kumar was going back to home in vehicle No. HP06A-8246. On the way near Maghara, Munna alongwith his friends restrained their way, beaten them brutally and also damaged his vehicle. The case is being investigated by HC Harbans Lal, I/O PS Jhakri.

4.      A TRESPASS: case FIR No 118/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli today, on 26.08.2017  U/S 448,427,506 on the application of Sh. Prasad Gupta S/o Tej Narayan Gupta R/o Ganga Cottage Below Gurudwara Sanjauli alleging therein that today a person broke the Wall of his house and also abused him. The case is being investigated by HC Naresh I/o PP Sanjauli.

5.      During last 24 hours 604 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 320 & fine realized Rs. 91,400/- and 30 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 3,100/-.    

FOLLOW-UP

1.      Accused i) Ravi Kumar s/o Parkesh Chand @ Tonku R/O Village Baron PO Panog, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla age 24 years  (2) Accused Akshu s/o Daulat Ram R/O Pungrish PO & Tehsil Kotkahi, Distt. Shimla age 20 years and (3) Accused Gopal Chetri S/o Sh. Janak Chetri age 22 yrs R/o VPO Jumla, Tehsil & Distt Tattapani, Nepal arrested in case FIR No. 145/17 dated 17-8-2017 u/s 457, 380 IPC P.S Theog, on dated 25.08.2017. Accused Ravi Kumar & Accused Akshu have been bailed out by the Ld Court. Accused Gopal Chetri is on Police remand up to 29.08.2017.
