Crime Report On December 25, 2016.

1.      An Excise Act case FIR No. 106/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 25.12.2016 U/S 39 of HP Ex. Act on the Rukka of ASI Deep Chand stated therein that on the intervening night of 24/25.12.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling and Nakabandi duty Hulli Gumma, he recovered 8 Boxes of Royal Stag, 8 Boxes of country liquor marked as Himachal Orange and 5 Boxes of Beer marked as Tuborg from the possession of Mahender Singh R/o Karyali, Theog, driver of Alto Car No. HP 09C-3439 & Ashok Verma R/o Himri, Kotkhai, driver of Alto Car NO. HP 09C-0682.  The case is being investigated by ASI Deep Chand I/O PS Kotkhai.

2.      An Excise Act case FIR No. 284/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 25.12.2016 U/S 39 of HP Ex. Act on the Rukka of SI Deepak Thakur I/O PS Dhalli stated therein that on 25.12.2016 at 1.30 AM, When he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty at Batish Colony Dhalli, he recovered 3 Boxes of country liquor marked as Una NO. 1 from the possession of Sunil Wadia S/o SH. Madan Lal Wadia R/o Nazib Niwas, Vijay Nagar, Kasumpti, Shimla- 9.  The case is being investigated by SI Deepak Thakur I/O PS Dhalli.

3.      An Accident case FIR No. 222/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 24.12.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Chaman Sharma S/o Sh. Moti Lal Sharma R/o V.P.O. Jharag, Tehsil Jubbal, Distt Shimla stated therein that on 24.12.2016, he was driving his Alto K 10 Car No. HP-10A-7710 as he reached nr Jais Ghati his car hit by another car No. HP09B-4144 with rash and negligent driving of driver Sanjeev Verma @ Lucky.  The case is being investigated by ASI Pushotam Chand I/O PS Theog.

4.      Fire Incident case FIR No 234/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 24.12.2016 U/S 285,304 IPC on the  application of Sh. Vidhyal Pal S/O Lt. Sh. Jhaptu Ram R/o VPO Chakti Tehsil Nankhari Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that on 23.12.2016, at about 11.30 AM, his brother Dharam Dass burnt in Gadhar Jungle due to set on fire in jungle by some unknown person. The case is being investigated by HC Devinder Nath I/O PP Nankhari.

5.      A Fire Incident case FIR No 75/16 has been registered at PS Chopal on 24.12.2016 U/S 285 IPC on the  application of Sh. Suprabhat Range officer Bamta Range, Tehsil Chopal, Distt Shimla, HP alleging therein that on dated 21.12.2016 some unknown culprits set on fire at Ghurla UPF Jungle, due to which forest property and 10 houses of village Kasha have been burnt. The case is being investigated by ASI Pratap Singh I/O PS Chopal.  

6.      A Fire Incident case FIR No 64/16 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 24.12.2016 U/S 285 IPC on the application of Sh. Lokinder Singh Range officer Nerwa Forest Range, Tehsil Chopal, Distt Shimla, HP alleging therein that on dated 23.12.2016 some unknown culprits set on fire at Gai Nala and huge forest property have been damaged in this fire incident. The case is being investigated by HC Ramesh Chand I/O PS Nerwa.  

7.      During last 24 hours 214 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 146 & fine realized Rs. 48,900/- and 41 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 4,200/-.
