Crime Report on Dec. 19, 2016

1. An Accident case FIR No. 104/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 18.12.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Lokender S/o Sh. Som Dutt R/o Vilage Chanari, PO Dhamandari, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla, age 21 years stated therein that on 18.12.2016, he alongwith Arun & Rishabh  was coming from Gumma to Chhaila in Pick-Up No. HP-62A-2810. At about 06-30 PM, when they reached at Annu near Gumma, above vehicle met with an accident & rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Rishabh, caused sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by ASI Ranjeet Singh, I/O PS Kotkhai.

2. An Accident case FIR No. 390/16 has been registered at PS Sadar today on 19.12.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Himanshu Sharma S/o Sh. Roop Singh Sharma R/o Village Trambali, PO Badi, Tehsil & Distt. Kullu, HP, age 19 years stated therein that on 18.12.2016, he alongwith his friend Vikrant Thakur was going to quarter from New Shimla in his Motorcycle No. HP-34-8512. At about 09-30 PM, when they reached near Lalpani, at the same time one Alto Car No. HP-09-2875, came rashly in wrong direction and hit his motorcycle and run away from the spot. In this accident, they sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Sheesh Pal, I/O PS Sadar.

3. An Accident case FIR No 105/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 19.12.2016 U/S 279,304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Sandeep Kumar S/o Sh. Roshan Lal R/o Village Kupdi Nala PO Baghar stated therein that today on 19.12.2016, he along with Dinesh were Coming towards Kotkhai in a vehicle. At about 11:40 AM, when they reached near Kokunala Patrol pump & saw that a vehicle No. HP 62-2981 met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Satish S/o Lt. Sh. Jebaku Ram R/o Khudvi PO Baghar Age 45 years & rolled down 70 feet from the road and Satish Kumar above died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Deep Chand I.O PS Kotkhai.

4. During last 24 hours 215 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 106 & fine realized Rs. 35,500/- and 47 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 4,700/-.   

   Fire Incident

1. Today Morning at about 05-30 AM, due to electric short circuit, fire incident took place at Old Building known as Hindu Hotel near Cecil Hotel, Chaura Maidan, in the jurisdiction of PS West, Shimla.

1. Accused Atul Sharma  S/o Sh. Murari Lal Sharma R/o Village Bhujpura, Thakur wali Gali, PO Jaigaj, Tehsil & Distt. Aligarh, UP A/P Tenant C/o Kundan R/o Vandana Enclave, near Cement Agency, Khoda Colony, Gajiabad, UP, arrested in case FIR No. 121/16 Dt. 08.12.2016 U/S 420 IPC at PS East, today remanded in Police custody upto 20.12.2016, by the Ld. Court.

2. Accused Naresh Kumar S/o Sh. Kali Ram R/o Village Gadali, PO Todsa, Tehsil Chirgaon, Distt. Shimla, HP, age 24 years, arrested in case FIR No. 80/16 Dt. 17.12.2016 U/S 306 IPC at PS Chirgaon, today sent in Judicial Custody upto 31.12.2016, by the Ld. Court.
