Crime Report on Dec. 04, 2016

1. A Cheating case FIR No. 287/16 has been registered at PS West on 03.12.2016 U/S 420, 120B IPC & 66D Information Technology Act on the application of Sh. Sunil Grover A/P Chief Engineer (Electrical) HP State Electricity Board Ltd. Shimla stated therein that on 29.11.2016, some unknown person has hacked his e-mail account grovers_in@yahoo.com and cheating with peoples by demanded Rs. one lacs for the surgery of his cousin by creating the same/fake e-mail ID i.e. grover_in@hotmail.com. The case is being investigated by Insp. Sanjeev Kumar, SHO PS West.

2. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 119/16 has been registered at PS East on 03.12.2016 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC on the report of Sh. Uma Nand S/o Lt. Sh. Malak Ram R/o Village Bhad, PO Anandpur, Distt. Shimla, age 42 years stated therein that on 03.12.2016, when he was going to home, on the way two persons namely Gagan prakash S/o Sh. Amar Chand and Rinku S/o Sh. Durga Dutt (Both) the resident of his village, obstructed his way & beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by HC Jagat Ram, I/O PP Kasumpti.

3. During last 24 hours 359 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 159 & fine realized Rs. 52,800/- & 73 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 7,500/-.

1. Accused Sanjay Guleria S/o Sh. Balwant Singh  R/O Village Kathiun,  PO Gander   Distt. Bilaspur age 39  years, arrested  in Case FIR No. 85/16 Dt. 28.03.2016 U/S  420,34 IPC at PS West, further remanded in Police Custody upto 05.12.2016 by the Ld. Court.

2. Accused i) Kamesh Talta S/o Sh. Parma Nand, R/o Village & PO Dewat, Tehsil Chopal District Shimla age 26 Years and ii) Karam Dass S/o Lat. Sh. Sher Singh R/o Village Jirara, PO Matal, Tehsil & PS Kupvi, District Shimla, age 21 years arrested today in case FIR No. 67/16 Dt. 08.11.2016 U/S 409,34 IPC at PS Chopal. are remanded in Police Custody upto 05.12.2016 by the Ld. Court.  

3. Accused Devinder Singh S/o Sh. Krishan Lal R/o Village Melath, PO Rawlakiar, Tehsil & PS Kotkhai, Shimla, age 43 years, arrested in case FIR No. 379 IPC & 41, 42 Indian Forest Act at PS Kotkhai, is on police remand upto 06.12.2016.

4. Accused  i) Prem Singh Dulta S/o Lt. Sh. Mohan Lal age 60 years, ii) Smt. Salochana Dulta W/o Sh. Prem Singh Dulta, age 55 years & iii) Smt. Praveen Dulta W/o Lt. Sh. Nitin Chauhan, age 34 years, all the resident of Village Rohtan, PO Mandal, Tehsil Jubbal, Distt. Shimla, arrested in Case FIR No. 147/16 Dt. 02.12.2016 U/S 306, 34 IPC & 25-54-59 Arms Act at PS New Shimla, are being produced before Ld. Court today.
