Crime Report on Dec. 05, 2016

1. An Accident case FIR No. 212/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 04.12.2016 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Sunil Kumar S/o Sh. Pratap Singh R/o Village Kathaal, PO Sandu, Tehsil Theog, Shimla stated therein that on 04.12.2016 at about 01-00 PM, A Swift car  A/F met with an accident at Sandhu due to rash & negligent driving of Pradeep Kumar S/o Sh. Udham Singh R/o Krishna Gali Theog, age 28 years and rolled down 200 feet from the road. In this accident, one person namely Pankaj Lepta S/o Sh. Roshan Lal  Lepta R/o Village Kaila, PO Kiara, Theog, age 22 has been died and Pradeep Kumar (driver) sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by SI Rajender Singh, Addl. SHO PS Theog.

2. A Burglary case FIR No. 379/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 04.12.2016 U/S 457, 380 IPC PS Sadar on the complaint of Sh. Rakesh Mehta S/o Lt. Sh. Shiv Dutt Mehta R/o Nav Akkar Building, Bharari, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 03/04.12.2016, some unknown person has entered in his house by breaking window of bathroom and stolen away diamond/ gold jewellery, HP Laptop, Panasoni c LED TV, Canon SLR Camera, Binocular & 04 Nos of Pashmina shawls from room & biometric safe. The case is being investigated by I/C PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.

3. During last e4 hours 313 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 99 & fine realized Rs. 43,400/- & 68 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 6,800/-.

   Follow Up

1. Accused Sanjay Guleria S/o Sh. Balwant Singh  R/O Village Kathiun,  PO Gander   Distt. Bilaspur age 39  years, arrested  in Case FIR No. 85/16 Dt. 28.03.2016 U/S  420,34 IPC at PS West, is being produced before Ld. Court.

2. Accused i) Kamesh Talta S/o Sh. Parma Nand, R/o Village & PO Dewat, Tehsil Chopal District Shimla age 26 Years and ii) Karam Dass S/o Lat. Sh. Sher Singh R/o Village Jirara, PO Matal, Tehsil & PS Kupvi, District Shimla, age 21 years arrested today in case FIR No. 67/16 Dt. 08.11.2016 U/S 409,34 IPC at PS Chopal. are further remanded in Police Custody upto 07.12.2016 by the Ld. Court.  

3. Accused Devinder Singh S/o Sh. Krishan Lal R/o Village Melath, PO Rawlakiar, Tehsil & PS Kotkhai, Shimla, age 43 years, arrested in case FIR No. 379 IPC & 41, 42 Indian Forest Act at PS Kotkhai, is on police remand upto 06.12.2016.

4. Accused  i) Prem Singh Dulta S/o Lt. Sh. Mohan Lal age 60 years, ii) Smt. Salochana Dulta W/o Sh. Prem Singh Dulta, age 55 years & iii) Smt. Praveen Dulta W/o Lt. Sh. Nitin Chauhan, age 34 years, all the resident of Village Rohtan, PO Mandal, Tehsil Jubbal, Distt. Shimla, arrested in Case FIR No. 147/16 Dt. 02.12.2016 U/S 306, 34 IPC & 25-54-59 Arms Act at PS New Shimla. Today all accused are remanded in judicial custody upto 17.12.2016 by  the Ld. Court.
