Crime Report on Dec. 15, 2016

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 386/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 14.12.16 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Rampal, I/O PS Sadar Shimla stated therein that on 14.12.2016, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Dharam Vinod S/o Sh. Balkrishan Sharma R/o Village Sanahu, PO Dewada, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla, age 37 years A/P Security Guard at Kali Bari Temple Shimla intercepted by them near Bentony, Shimla and recovered 40 gram Charas from his possession. Accused has been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by ASI Rampal, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla.
2. A Cheating case FIR No. 145/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 14.12.2016 U/S 409, 420 IPC on the application of Sh. Udham Lal Verma, A/P Block Elementary Education Officer, Kumarsain, Shimla alleging therein that one Mr. Balwant Bhaskar has withdrew amount of Rs. 9 lacs on 19.07.2016 & 17.07.2016 from the account No. 07410004050106555 of BEEO Kumarsain  and transferred the same in his own account with the forged signature on cheques. The case is being investigated by ASI Devi Singh, I/O PS Kumarsain.
3. A PDPP Act case FIR No. 146/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 14.12.2016 U/S 3 The Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act  on the statement of Sh. Mansukh S/o Sh. Sant Ram R/o Village Ghadhashi Kukana, PO Kotk, Tehsil Kasauli, Distt. Solan A/P Driver in HRTC, Solan Depot. stated therein that on 13.12.2016, he was on route duty from Chandigarh to Bhutti in HRTC Bus No. HP-12D-7328. In the evening, he parked Bus at Bhutti Bus Stop, where two persons namely Bohin & Dinesh were roaming there in drunken condition. On 14.12.2016 at about  05-30 AM, when he checked the Bus and found the front glass of bus has been broken. He doubts that above persons have broken the front glass of his Bus. The case is being investigated by ASI Hem Chand, I/C PP Sainj. 
4. An Accident case FIR No. 231/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 14.12.2016 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Kartar Singh S/o Sh. njeet Sing R/o Village Navani, PO Triflaghat, Tehsil Sarkaghat, Distt. Mandi, HP alleging therein that on 14.12.2016 at about 06-15 PM, a Alto Car No. HP-06A-3651, came rashly from Nogli side and hit with another vehicle No. HP-01A-4082, caused sustained injuries to driver of Alto Car.  The case is being investigated by ASI Khaidi Ram, I/C TTR Rampur.  
5. A Disfigurement Act case FIR No. 271/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 14.12.2016 U/S 3 The HP Open Place (Prevention of Disfigurement) Act on the rukka of HC Paramjeet, I/O PP Sanjauli, Shimla stated therein that on 14.12.2016, during patrolling alongwith staff when he reached at Sanjauli Chowk and found that one person namely Devender Singh has pasted a poster in public place for advertisement marked as "Requirement of Boys, girls, ladies & gents for office Job in Shimla" in The Rain Shelter at Sanjauli Shimla. The case is being investigated by HC Paramjeet, I/O PP Sanjauli Shimla.  
6. Mischief by fire with the intent to destroy house case FIR No. 216/16 has been registered at PS Theog today on 15.12.2016 U/S 436 IPC on the statement of Sh. Shiv Lal Sharma S/o Lt. Sh. Ronku Ram Sharma R/o Ronka Villa, Ward No. 4, Theog Shimla stated therein that on 11.12.2016, some unknown person has set a fire in his ancestral House  near Degree College at Chundu with the intention to destroy it. The case is being investigated by ASI Sunil Kumar, I/O PS Theog.
7. A Burglary case FIr No. 387/16 has been registered at PS Sadar today on 15.12.2016 U/S 457 380 IPC on the complait of Naseer Ahmad S/o Gulam Rasool R/o Villag Naupura Batnad, PO Kokarnag, Distt. Anantnag, J&K A/P running a Shop in Jama Masjid, Middle Bazar, Shimla stated therein that on the intervening night of 14/15.12.2016, some unknown person has broken the door lock of his shop and stolen 3 Mobile Phones, Recharge coupen amounting to Rs. 9500/- & cash box. The case is being investigated by ASI Mohinder Lal, I/O PS Sadar.  
8. During last 24 hours 336 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 148 & fine realized Rs. 56,000/-, 96 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 13,300/- and 01 challaned under Mining Act.  

Inquest Report

1. On 14.12.2016, deceased Tikkam Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Mani Ram R/o Village Tikker, PO Fancha, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, age 56 years, has been died due to fell down from hillock at Nanti Kanda, in the jurisdiction of PS Jhakri. After autopsy, dead body handed over to his relatives for cremation.

1. Accused Charan Dass S/o Lt Sh. Kau Ram R/o Village Majhali PO Deothi Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP Age-51 years arrested in Case FIR No. 228/16 Dt. 08.12.2016 U/S 341,323,504,307,34 IPC  at PS Rampur, today further remanded in Police custody upto 16.12.2016, by the Ld. Court.

2. Accused Shankar Sharma S/o Sh. Dhun Ram Sharma R/o Village Chidiyakhol, PO & Tehsil Bhutol, Odda No. 7, Distt. Ruppan Dei, Lumbini, Anchal Nepal, age 56 years A/P C/o Nokh Ram R/o Village & PO Theog, Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 341, 323, 307 IPC at PS Theog, today remanded in judicial custody by the Ld. Court.

3. Accused i) Ram Gopal S/O Basti Ram R/O Sayarla  PO Bhujal Tehsil Rajhgarh Distt. Sirmour &             ii) Ramesh Chand  S/O Lachmi Ram R/O Ghalana PO Kuthar Tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 72/16 Dt. 14.12.2016 U/S 379, 34 IPC & 41,42 IF Act at PS Chopal, today remanded in Police custody upto 17.12.2016 by the Ld. Court.  

4. Accused Dharam Vinod S/o Sh. Balkrishan Sharma R/o Village Sanahu, PO Dewada, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla, age 37 years A/P Security Guard at Kali Bari Temple Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 386/16 Dt. 14.12.16 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar, released on bail by the Ld. Court.
