Crime Report on Dec. 16, 2016

1. A Gambling Act case FIR No. 111/16 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 15.12.2016 U/S 13-3-67 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of SI Kulwant Singh, SHO PS Jhakri stated therein that on 15.12.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Rattanpur. On the secret information, 08 persons namely Mohan Negi, Manmohan Singh, Bhim Sen, Rajesh, Kedar Rai, Ranjeet Singh, Balwant Singh & Joginder, intercepted by them at Rattanpur during playing gambling with cards and recovered Rs. 14,810/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Jhakri.

2. An Attempt to Murder case FIR No. 147/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 16.12.2016 U/S 307 IPC on the statement of Sh.Devender S/o Sh. Sunder Singh R/o Village Amarnal, PO Sumathla, Tehsil & PS Kumarsain, Shimla alleging therein that on 15.12.2016 at about 09-00 PM, when he was going to home from Bithal Bazar in his Pick-Up No. HP-06A-6462 and reached 100 meter ahead from Bithal and saw that two persons namely Dhan Singh & Yamu Bahadur  found unconscious at the right side of road with blood stained injuries, who were beaten by some unknown person with the intention to kill them. The case is being investigated by ASI Hem Chand, I/C PP Sainj.

3. Used Criminal force to public servant discharge his duty case FIR No. 102/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 15.12.2016 U/S 353,332 IPC on the statement of Sh. Rajeev Kumar A/P Junior Engineer in I&PH Deptt. Kotkhai, Shimla stated therein that on 15.12.2016, he alongwith staff was restoring a water connection near Padshal, at the same time one person namely Prakash S/o Sh. Bhagat Ram R/o Village Santari, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla scuffle with him during discharge of his govt. duty and beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Kotkhai.

4. During last 24 hours 381 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 171 & fine realized Rs. 64,200/- and 80 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 8,500/-.   

Follow Up

1. Accused Charan Dass S/o Lt Sh. Kau Ram R/o Village Majhali PO Deothi Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP Age-51 years arrested in Case FIR No. 228/16 Dt. 08.12.2016 U/S 341,323,504,307,34 IPC  at PS Rampur, today remanded in judicial custody upto 29.12.2016, by the Ld. Court.

2. Accused i) Ram Gopal S/O Basti Ram R/O Sayarla  PO Bhujal Tehsil Rajhgarh Distt. Sirmour &             ii) Ramesh Chand  S/O Lachmi Ram R/O Ghalana PO Kuthar Tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 72/16 Dt. 14.12.2016 U/S 379, 34 IPC & 41,42 IF Act at PS Chopal, today remanded in Police custody upto 17.12.2016 by the Ld. Court.

3. Accused Atul Sharma  S/o Sh. Murari Lal Sharma R/o Village Bhujpura, Thakur wali Gali, PO Jaigaj, Tehsil & Distt. Aligarh, UP A/P Tenant C/o Kundan R/o Vandana Enclave, near Cement Agency, Khoda Colony, Gajiabad, UP, arrested in case FIR No. 121/16 Dt. 08.12.2016 U/S 420 IPC at PS East, today remanded in Police custody upto 20.12.2016, by the Ld. Court.

4. Accused i) Nant Ram, age 24 years & ii) Kewal Ram, age 28 years  (both) S/o Sh. Nag Raj R/o Village Gadali, PO Todasa, Tehsil Chirgaon, Distt. Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 65/16 Dt. 30.09.2016 U/S 324, 323, 506, 34, 326 IPC at PS Chirgaon, released on bail by the Ld. Court.
