An Excise Act case FIR No. 126/16 has been registered at PS Rohru on 26.12.2016 U/S 39(i) HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Suresh Kumar, I/O PS Rohru, Shimla stated therein that on 26.12.2016, during patrolling alongwith staff, two persons namely Pradeep Negi S/o Sh. Mundaru Negi, R/o Village & PO Lowerkoti, Tehsil Rohru, Distt. Shimla & Baldev Singh S/o Sh. Harimukh R/o Village Tikker, PO Kaloti, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla, intercepted by them near Meat Market Rohru and recovered 02 Boxes of English Liquor marka Old Monk XXX Rum & 03 Boxes of country liquor marka Una No. 1 from their possession. The case is being investigated by SI Suresh Kumar, I/O PS Rohru.
An Excise Act case FIR No. 286/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 26.12.2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Deepak Kumar, Addl. SHO PS Dhalli, Shimla on 26.12.2016 at about 10-30 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff one person namely Sandeep Sharma S/o Sh. Prem Chand R/o Mahajan Lodge, Cemetery Road, Sanjauli Shimla, intercepted by them near Shiv Mandir Bhattakufar and recovered 12 Bottles of English liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Deepak Kumar, Addl. SHO PS Dhalli, Shimla.
During last 24 hours 269 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 151 & fine realized Rs. 61,500/- and 58 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 6,320/-.
