Crime Report on Dec. 08, 2016

1. A Theft case FIR No. 120/16 has been registered at PS East today on 08.12.2016 U/S 379 IPC on the application of Sh. Vaibhav Verma R/o Verma Niwas, Devnagar, near Food & Supply Office, Kasumpti, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 29/30.11.2016 some unknown person has stolen away his vehicle No. HP-14-6674 (Maruti Car) from his own parking place. The case is being investigated by ASI Tenzin Chhering, I/C PAR Vikas Nagar.

2. During last 24 hours 386 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 170 & fine realized Rs. 57,200/-, 120 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs.  12,200/- and 01 Challaned under Mining Act.

1. Accused i) Kamesh Talta S/o Sh. Parma Nand, R/o Village & PO Dewat, Tehsil Chopal District Shimla age 26 Years and ii) Karam Dass S/o Lat. Sh. Sher Singh R/o Village Jirara, PO Matal, Tehsil & PS Kupvi, District Shimla, age 21 years arrested today in case FIR No. 67/16 Dt. 08.11.2016 U/S 409,34 IPC at PS Chopal. today released on bail by the Ld. Court.  

2. Accused Chaiya Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Dina Ram R/o Down Dale Phagali, Shimla, age 45 years arrested in case FIR No. 381/16 Dt. 05.12.16 U/S 18-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.

3. Accused Mool Chand S/o Sh. Mani Ram R/o Village & PO Bhutti, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla A/P Junior Asstt. in HRTC Unit Rampur, age 53 years, arrested in  case FIR No. 226/16 Dt. 28.11.2016 U/S 465, 468, 471 IPC at PS Rampur, is remanded in police custody upto 12.12.2016 by the Ld. Court.
