Crime Report on Dec. 22, 2016

1. An Accident case FIR No. 88/16 has been registered at PS Sunni on 21.12.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of SH. Ravender Sharma S/o Sh. Leela Ram Sharma R/o Village Panohi, PO Sainj Teh Sunni Distt Shimla age 20 year alleging therein that on 21.12.2016, he alongwith his friend Vinod Kumar was coming towards Sunni from Panohi in Motorcycle No. HP-52A-8553. At about 03-15 PM, when they reached at Basantpur, at the same time one Car No. HP-63C-2081, driven by Manohar Lal S/o Sh. Padam Ram came rashly by  overtaking HRTC Bus and rammed into thier Bike, caused sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by HC Rakesh I/O PS Sunni.

2. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 112/16 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 21.12.2016 U/S 341,323 IPC on the application of Sh. Kailash Chand S/O Lt. Sh. Ram Lal R/O Kinnu Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that on 21.12.2016 at about 06-45 PM, one Mr. Karim, who is working as a foreman in his J.K Engineering Company, was beaten by Ishwar Sharma R/O Bashara without any significant reason. The case is being investigating by HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PS Jhakri.

3. During last 24 hours 361 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 144 & fine realized Rs. 49,100/- and 98 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 9,950/-.   

   Fire Incident

1. Today at about 07-30 AM, Fire Incident took place in the house of  Daulat Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Devnu Ram R/o Village Dakara, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, due to forest fire. The property amounting to Rs. 2 lacs approximate, has been destroyed, due to fire.

   Inquest Report                                                                              

1. Deceased Dhani Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Sohan Singh R/o Village & PO Kartot, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla, age 39 years has been died due to fell down into septic tank (under construction) & sustained head injuries. After autopsy at MG MSC Khaneri, dead body handed over to his relatives for cremation.

1. Accused Atul Sharma  S/o Sh. Murari Lal Sharma R/o Village Bhujpura, Thakur wali Gali, PO Jaigaj, Tehsil & Distt. Aligarh, UP A/P Tenant C/o Kundan R/o Vandana Enclave, near Cement Agency, Khoda Colony, Gajiabad, UP, arrested in case FIR No. 121/16 Dt. 08.12.2016 U/S 420 IPC at PS East, further remanded in Police custody upto 24.12.2016, by the Ld. Court.
