Press Note  on 18-12-2016

1.   A Suicide Case FIR No. 80/16 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 17.12.16 U/S 306 IPC PS on the statement of Sh. Thallodu Ram S/o Sh. Balpur R/o R/o Village Banoti, PO Devidhar, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that his daughter has solemnized marriage with Naresh Kumar R/o Todsa, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla in the year 2012. Since then, her husband tortured her mentally & physically and abetted her to commit suicide. The police have arrested accused and the case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep, I/O PS Chirgaon.

2.   A Burglary Case FIR No.279/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 17.12.2016 U/S 454,380 IPC on the Application of Kamal Royal, S/O Lt. Sh. Madan Singh, Rohlta Niwas, Below Cemetery gate Sanjauli Shimla-6 alleging therein that on 17.12.2016  some known person has broken the  bolt and grills of  his house and stolen away  a golden chain. The case is being investigated by by ASI Roshan Lal I/O PS Dhalli.

3.   A Burglary case FIR No.280/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 17.12.2016 U/S 454,380 IPC on the Application of Dr. Vineet Sharma, R/O Shiv cottage, opp. Mehta petrol pump alleging therein that on 17.12.2016 some unknown person entered in his house and stolen away one set gold bangles,(कड़ा)-1, Gold Rings-2,  Gold Tops -2, Diamond ear rings, Silver Chains-2, Payal-Silve, Pendant-Diamond, Cash of Rs 2000/-, Silver Bangles-5  and Diamond Tops-1 set from his house. The case is being investigated by HC Karam Singh No. 127 I/O PS Dhalli.

4.   A Wrongful confinement case FIR No. 291/16 has been registered at PS West on 17.12.2016 U/S 342 IPC on the statement of Sh s.R Sharma S/o Sh Lala Ram Sharma R/o Shastari Building Dhandha Totu shimla alleging therein that on 17.12.2016 his neighbor namely Chaman Lal wrongfully confined his son at his house more than three hours. The case is being investigated by ASI Mohan Lal I/O PS West.

5.   An Accident case FIR No 149/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 17.12.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the rukha of HC Rakesh Kumar  I/O PS Kumarsain alleging therein that on 17.12.2016 a vehicle No HP 06A 5232 met with an accident near Baru Bagh due to rash and negligent driving of Chander Mohan. The case is being investigated by HC Rakesh Kumar I/O PS Kumarsain.

6.   An Accident case FIR No 123/16 has been registered at PS East on 17.12.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Munish Sharma R/o Set No 118 Type- Government colony Kasumpti Shimla-9 alleging therein that on 13.12.2016 driver of vehicle No HP 63 4100 had hit his son Madwan by his vehicle . The case is being investigated by ASI Tenging Chering I/O PP Vikas Nagar.

During last 24 hours 333 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 152 & fine realized Rs. 46,500/- and 42 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 4,200/-. 

Follow Up

1.    Accused Naresh Kumar S/O Sh Kali Ram R/O Gadali PO Todsa Tehsil Chirgaon Distt Shimla has been arrested in Case FIR No 80/16 dt 17.12.2016 U/S 306 IPC on dt 18.12.2016 at 2-00 PM. He will produce before Ld JMIC-2 Rohru on 19.12.2016.

2.    Accused Atul Sharma  S/o Sh. Murari Lal Sharma R/o Village Bhujpura, Thakur wali Gali, PO Jaigaj, Tehsil & Distt. Aligarh, UP A/P Tenant C/o Kundan R/o Vandana Enclave, near Cement Agency, Khoda Colony, Gajiabad, UP, arrested in case FIR No. 121/16 Dt. 08.12.2016 U/S 420 IPC at PS East, today remanded in Police custody upto 20.12.2016, by the Ld. Court.
