Crime Report on November 12, 2016

1. A Gambling Act case FIR NO 108/16 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 11.11.2016 U/S 13 of Gambling Act 1867 on the rukka of  SI Kulwant Singh SHO PS Jhakri  alleging therein that  on  11.11.2016 when he was coming from PHC Ganvi  along with staff when he reached at ktolu bridge then he saw four person  were plying Gambling in the forest area near the Sutlej River. He went there and recovered of Rs.7050/- from the possession of them. The Case is being investigating by  SI Kulwant Singh SHO SHO PS Jhakri.
2. An Excise Act case FIR No 196/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 11.11.2016 U/S 39(1) of HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Ram Singh I/C PP Fagu alleging therein that on 11.11.2016 he was on patrolling in his jurisdiction along staff. During patrolling he intercepted a person namely Rajinder Singh S/o Late Sh Devi Singh R/o village Kadarab P/o Cheog Tehsil Theog Distt Shimla and recovered 09 bottles of country liquor marka Una No 1 from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Singh I/C PP Fagu.
3. An Accident case FIR No 273/16 has been registered at PS West on 11.11.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC, and 187 MV Act P.S. West on the statement of Miss Sulochana D/o Sh Shyam Singh Dhiman R/o village Chayama P/o Nerwa Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla alleging therein that  on 11.11.2016 she came to Shimla from Solan  in a Punjab Roadways Bus. When she reached at her destination she stopped bus. She was coming out from bus suddenly bus conductor blown the whistle and driver of the bus driven the bus fron the spot and she fell from the bus on the road and sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Pratap Singh I/O PS West.
4. An Accident case FIR No 67/16 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 12.11.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Mahender Singh S/O Lt. Sh. Daya Nand R/O Vill. Gadie PO Sheel Tehsil & PS Rohru Distt. Shimla age 44 years A/P Lecturer Economics in Govt. Sen. Sec. School Deem Tehsil Jubbal stated therein that today on dated 12.11.2016 he was going to Shimla in Pickup No HP63-4762 came from village Sheel and driver Vinod Kumar S/O Sh. Girdhari Lal R/O village Melthi PO Pujarli No 2 Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla was driving above vehicle. When this vehicle reached near Kharapathar suddenly driver Vinod Kumar lost control over the pickup and vehicle met with an accident and both person sitting in vehicle sustained injuries. This incident took place due to rash and negligent driving of driver Vinod Kumar. The Case is being investigated by HC Raffi. Mohd. I/O PS Jubbal.
5. A Grievous Injury case FIR NO. 371/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 11.11.2016 U/S 325, 323, 506, 34 IPC PS Sadar on the statement of Rajeev Sood S/o Sh Dharam Chand Sood R/o Hotel Chanakya Lakkar Bazar Shimla alleging therein that on 26.10.2016 when he was at his Hotel suddenly Kanav Sood, his mother Bharti Sood, Sakshi Goyal came there and beaten him brutally. They also threatened him with dire consequences. Due to this incident, he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Brijesh Sood I/O PP Lakkar Bazar.
6. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR NO. 372/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 12.11.16 U/S 341, 323, 506, 34 IPC on the statement of Smt Bharti Sood R/o Chanakya Hotel Lakkar Bazaar  Shimla alleging therein that on 26.10.2016 a person Rajeev Sood along with his wife Neelu Sood beaten her Son, daughter, and old age grand-in-law brutally. They also threatened them with dire consequences The case is being investigated by ASI Virender Singh I/O PP Lakkar Bazar.  
7. During last 24 hours 358 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 98 & fine realized Rs. 34,400/- & 67 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 6,600/-.

Inquest Report

Deceased Sh Nanak Chand S/O Sh Dhaulu Ram R/O Village Dadal PO Bhumti. Tehsil Arki Distt Solan HP A/P Workcharge Laborer Water Supply Department Sanjauli Wing M.C Shimla age 48 years died due to fall at Dingoo Dhar. Sanjauli Shimla. Postmortem has been conducted in IGMC Shimla and Dead body handed over to his brother for cremation. Proceeding under section 174 CrPC is being conducted at PS Dhalli.

Follow Up

1. Accused Hem Raj S/o Sh. Surat Ram R/o Village Lohana, PO Madog, Tehsil & PS Chopal, Shimla, age 42 years, arrested in case FIR No. 216/16 Dt. 09.11.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli,  is on police remand upto 12.11.2016.

2. Accused Akshu Rekta S/o Sh. Daulat Ram R/o Village Pungrish PO & Tehsil Kotkhai,, Shimla, age 20 years, arrested in case FIR No. 87/16 Dt. 09.11.2016 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS Kotkhai released on bail by Ld court today.

3. Accused Puran Dutt S/o Lt. Sh Krishnu Dutt R/O Village Shildu P.O. Panesh Tehsil & Distt Shimla H.P. age 50 Yrs has been arrested in Case FIR No. 272/16 Dated 10.11.16 U/S 341,323,504,506 IPC P.S. West Shimla released on bail By Ld Court.
