A Gambling Act case FIR No. 192/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 08.11.2016 U/S 3,4 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of SI Rajender Singh, Addl. SHO PS Theog stated therein that on 08.11.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling & collection of intelligence towards Jaisghati, Kholgali, Chhaila etc. On the secret information, he raided in the office of Samsth Truck Operator Union at Sainj and found that four persons namely Lekh Raj Sharma, Gopal, Ajeet Verma & Ram Krishan were playing gambling with cards & recovered Rs. 78,000/- from the spot.
An Excise Act case FIR No. 88/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 09.11.2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Rajneesh Thakur, SHO PS Kotkhai, Shimla stated therein that today on 09.11.2016, during search operation at Kiari (Kotkhai) he recovered 14 Bottles of Country liquor Marka Una No.-1, from the Dhaba of Guddu Yadav S/o Sh. Shiv Ram Yadav R/o Village Singhpur, PO Shivgarh, Tehsil Maharajaganj, Distt. Raibreli, UP A/P Owner of Dhaba at Kiari, Kotkhai. The case is being investigated SI Rajneesh Thakur, SHO PS Kotkhai.
An Accident case FIR No. 135/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 08.11.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC at PS Kumarsain on the statement of Sh. Raghvender Kumar S/o Sh. L.M. Singh R/o Village Lutuksa, PO Solding, Tehsil Nichar, Distt. Kinnaur, age 47 years A/P Manager (Admn) Regent Energy Limited Company, Lutuksa stated therein that on 08.11.2016, he alongwith Anuj Kumar was going to Lutuksa (Kinnaur) from Shimla in vehicle No. DL-3CAE-5889. At about 03-30 PM, when they reached at Sharmbal Camp near Kumarsain, above vehicle met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Anuj Kumar & rolled down 8/10 meter from the road, caused sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by HC Rakesh Kumar, I/O PS Kumarsain.
An Accident case FIR No. 114/16 has been registered at PS Rohru on 08.11.2016 U/S 279,337,304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Zakir Hussin S/O Nurdin Hussin Rahthar R/O Changa PO Kilotaran Teh & PS Gund, Distt Doda J&K, age 30 years stated therein that on 08.11.2016, on 08.11.2016, at about 03.30 PM, he and Najakat Ali working with KK Contractor. The work is on progress from Bus stand Rohru towards main road. Driver Najakat Ali drives the Tracker No HP10A-2175, suddenly he lost his control over tracker & rolled on the road. In this accident, Najakat Ali died on the spot and he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Paswan Kumar, I/O PP City Rohru.
An Accident case FIR No. 107/16 has been registered at PS Jhakri today on 09.11.2016 U/S 279, 304A IPC on the rukka of ASI Rajesh Kumar, I/C PP Sarahan alleging therein that today a Swift Car No. HP-06C-4789 on the way towards village Mashanu, met with an accident near village Maguni and rolled down into ditch. In this accident two persons namely Virender S/o Sh. Karam Chand R/o Village & PO Mashnu, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, age 22 years and Devender S/o SH. Dharam Dass R/o Village Dethal, Tehsil Kumarsain, age 40 years died on the spot.
A Criminal Breach of Trust case FIR No. 67/16 has been registered at PS Chopal U/S 409 IPC on the application of Sh. Rajiv Thapa A/P Branch Manager Shimla stating there in that two person namely Kamesh Talta and Karam Dass, serving as ATM Custodian in his company from 2013 & 2014 respectively, have intentionally misappropriate /theft of Rs. 19,63,900/- (public money) on 5 ATMs. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Gopal I/O PS Chopal.
A Causing Death by Negligence Case FIR N0. 86/16 Has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 08.11.2016 U/S 336,304A IPC on the statement of Avinash S/o Sh. Mastan Singh R/o Village Geen Tehsil Badoh PS Nagrota Bagwan Distt. Kangra stated therein that on 06.11.2016, at about 6:15 PM cutting of road work is on progress at Nihari nala near Baghi. Manoj Kumar operated LNT machine No JS205L suddenly a cedar tree fell down on Site Incharge Rampal, caused sustained injuries to him. He was shifted to IGMC Shimla for Treatment, where doctor declared him Brought dead. Above incident took place due to negligence work of JCB Operator Manoj Kumar and contractor Rajender Negi. The case is being investigated by ASI Roshan Lal I/C PP Baghi.
A Forest Act case FIR No. 115/16 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 09.11.2016 U/S 32, 33 IF Act & 379, 34 IPC on the application of Sh. Kabir Inder Nath S/o Lt. Sh. Buth Nath R/o Village Kharia, PO Dhrala, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla A/P Incharge Forest Range, Bashla alleging therein that on 08.11.2016, at about 03-00 PM Forest Guard Prithavi Chauhan informed him telephonically that some unknown person has cut two trees of Deodar. On this information, he alongwith staff rushed to the spot and apprehended two persons namely Vikas S/o Lt. Sh. Moti Lal R/o Bashla & Shyam Sunder S/o Lt. Sh. Bansi Lal R/o Bashla and recovered 24 slipers (logs) of Deodar amounting more than two lacs from their possession. The case is being investigated by SI Vikas Sharma, I/O PS Rohru.
A Burglary case FIR No. 213/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 08.11.2016 U/S 457 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Praveen Singh R/o Inder Place, Sanjauli, Shimla stated therein that on the intervening night of 06.11.2016, some unknown person has broken the door lock of his house and stolen away golden/silver ornaments & cash Rs. 35,000 from his house. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Chand, I/O PP Sanjauli.
A Burglary case FIR No. 215/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 09.11.2016 U/S 454 380 IPC on the application of Sh. Rajender Sood S/o Sh. Mansa Ram Sood R/o Durga Bhawan near Khanna, Cable Control Room Sanjauli, Shimla stated therein that on 08.11.2016, some unknown person has stolen away diamond/ golden/ silver ornaments & cash Rs. 17,000/- from his house. Sharvan Kumar R/o Ward No. 04 near Sunder Book Depot Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 08.11.2016, some unknown person has broken the door locks of his shop & Shop No. 17 and stolen away cash Rs. 6560/-. The case has been investigated by ASI Deep Chand I.O PS Kotkhai.
A Cheating case FIR No. 106/16 has been registered at PS Jhakri today on 09.11.2016 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Sandesha Khanashu W/o Sh. Rakesh Khanashu R/O Village Khanash PO Sarahan Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla alleging therein that one Mr. Mark Johnson from London cheated her by charging courier & Airport Clearance charges etc. amounting to Rs. 10,45,600/- to provide gift items to her. The case is being investigated by ASI Rajesh Kumar I/C PP Sarahan.

Fire Incident
Today on 09.11.2016 at about 06-15 AM due to electric short circuit fire incident took place in the three stories building of Shyam Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Jai Singh R/o Village Shalota, PO Galani, Tehsil & PS Kumarsain, Shimla. Due to fire, four Rooms, furniture, other household articles & cash Rs. 20 thousand have been burnt. The approximate value of burnt property is Rs. 20/25 lacs.

Accused Tarun S/O Sh. Lekh Ram R/O Village Bharyal PO Badehri Tehsil & Distt Shimla H.P. Age 21 years arrested in Case FIR No. 269/16 Dt. 05.11.2016 U/S 377 IPC & 4,6 POCSO Act at PS West Shimla, is remanded in police custody upto 10.11.2016 by the Ld. Court.
