Crime Report on Nov. 23, 2016

1. An Accident case FIR No. 58/16 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 22.11.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Hem Singh S/O Dulchi Ram R/O Village Rawtan PO Jhiknipul Tehsil Chopal, Shimla alleging therein that on 22.11.2016, he along with Kamal S/O Debu Ram R/O Dakoli Tehsil Chopal and Balbir S/O Sh. Kewal Ram R/O Village Rawtan Tehsil Chopal were coming to home from Jhaiknipul in Vehicle No.HP63-8959, driven by Kewal Ram. When they reached at Belagpul above vehicle met with an accident due to rash and negligent driving of Kewal Ram & rolled down from the road. In this accident they all sustained injured. The case is being investigated by SHO PS Nerwa.
2. An Accident case FIR No. 118/16 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 23.11.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Sunni Ram S/o Sh. Dhachi Ram R/o Village Shikhal, PO Dadigunchha,, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla stated therein that on 22.11.2016, he was coming to Rohru from Mandali in his Motorcycle No. HP-10A-4382. At about 09-45 PM, when he reached near Radha Swami Petrol Pump, at the same time a Maruti car came rashly & hit his motorcycle from backside and run away from the spot, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Pawan Kumar, I/O PP City Rohru.  
3. A Criminal intimidation case FIR No. 18/16 has been registered at 1^st Women PS BCS Shimla on 22.11.2016 U/S 506 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Shikha Dhirta stated therein that some unknown person has making calls by mobile Nos. 828422562 & 9876246934 for the last one month & threatened her with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by SI Mamta, I/O FMPS BCS Shimla.  
4. A Criminal intimidation case FIR No. 277/16 has been registered at PS West on 22.11.2016 U/S 323 504 506 IPC on the application of Sh. Maan Singh Thakur S/o Sh. Ram Saran Thakur R/o Verma Niwas, Lower Sangti, Summer Hill Shimla A/P Employee in Oriental Insurance Company, Maith Estate, Kainthu Shimla alleging therein that on 22.11.2016, when he was in his office, at about 04-00 PM one person namely Balbir Gautam, agent came to him & beaten him brutally. He also abused him and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Amrender Singh, I/O PS West.
5. A Trespass case FIR No 223/16 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 23.11.2016 U/S 451,323,506 IPC on the application of Smt. Sunita Devi W/O Sh. Hans Raj R/o Village Jogni PO Munish Bhali Rampur Bsr Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that on 22.11.2016, at about 05.45 PM  when she was present in her shop, at the same time one person namely Jai Prakash entered in her shop, beaten her brutally and also threatened with dire consequences. The case is investigated by ASI Ishwar Singh, I/C PP Tecklech. 
6. During last 24 hours 393 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 180 & fine realized Rs. 54,700/- & 59 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 5,900/-

Inquest Report

1. Deceased Kalyan Singh Nepali C/o Sh. Govind Singh R/o Village Gharat, PO Bonda, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, age 65 years, who was being suffered since long time, has been died during treatment at MG MSC Khaneri, Rampur. After autopsy, dead body handed over to his relatives for cremation.

1. Accused i) Mukesh S/o Sh. Sarwan Kumar R/o Village Rawi, PO Sarahan, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, age 18 years, ii) Devinder S/o Sh. Jeet Ram R/o Village Kholvi, Tehsil Kumarsain, Distt. Shimla, age 31 years, iii) Ravi S/o Sh. Uma Dutt R/o Village Totto, Tehsil Nankhari, Shimla, age 18 years, arrested in case FIR No. 222/16 Dt. 20.11.16 U/S 302, 34 IPC at PS Rampur, are on Police Remand upto 25.11.2016.

2. Accused Sant Ram S/o Sh. Gopal Singh R/o Village Kasha, PO Kahsapat, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla, age 29 years, arrested in case FIR No. 115/16 Dt. 05.06.2016 U/S 336 IPC & 3 The Explosive Substance Act 1908 at PS Rampur, remanded in judicial custody by the Ld. Court.
