Crime Report on Nov. 25, 2016

1. A Rioting case FIR No. 279/16 has been registered at PS West on 24.11.2016 U/S 147, 149, 451, 323, 504, 506 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sahil S/o Sh. Abdul Rahman R/o Village Angaro, PO Diusar, Distt. Pulwama, J&K alleging therein that he is running a Tour & Travel Agency near Victory Tunnel Shimla. On 24.11.2016 at about 03-30 PM, Anshu, Nand Kishore, Sunil Verma, Vikas & Balak Ram entered in his office &  abused him. They have also beaten him brutally & threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder Kumar, I/O PS West.

2. A Trespass case  FIR  No 109/16 has been registered at PS Jhakri today on 25.11.2016 U/S 447,427 504 IPC  on the complaint  of Sh. Parbhu Lal  S/O Late  Sh Sunder sing  R/O Village  Pithvi  PO Kinnu  Tehsil Rampur, Distt Shimla HP  alleging therein that  he  is owner  of land Khasra No 1200/730  at Sarhan & cover the boundary of above land with Iron angle  during  demarcation on 23.11.2016. One Smt.  Dev Dassi W/o Late Sh.  Prem Dass  trespassed in his above land, abused him and  destroyed  the boundary angle. The case is being  investigated By ASI Rajesh, I/C  PP  Sarahan.

3. A Trespass case FIR No. 137/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 25.11.2016 U/S 451,323, 506 IPC on the application of Smt. Panchi Devi W/o Lt. Sh. Toti Ram R/oVillage Chaluna PO Shiwan Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla alleging therein that on 24.11.2016, Dev Krishan S/o Ranjeet R/o Chaluna, PO Shiwan , Kumarsain Shimla criminally trespassed in her premises, beaten her brutally & threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Devi Ram, I/O PS Kumarsain.

4. A Theft case FIR No. 117/16 has been registered at PS East, Shimla on 24.11.2016 U/S 379 IPC on the application of Sh. Ghanender Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Surjeet Singh R/o Quality House, Vikas Nagar, Shimla alleging therein that some unknown person has stolen away his Motorcycle No. HP-63B-0743 (Royal Enfield) parked on the slab of his house. The case is being investigated by ASI Tenzing Chhering, I/C PAR Vikas Nagar.

5. During last 24 hours 297 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 104 & fine realized Rs. 37,400/- & 66 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 6,700/-

Inquest Report

1. Deceased Rampal S/o Gainda Ram R/o House No. 1391, Bhaskar Colony, Chandigarh, age 72 years, who was working as catering with contractor Gurpreet Singh came to Sh. Bishambhar Thakur at Village Kaloti in c/w arrangement of marriage ceremony, fell down from the above house and died on the spot. After autopsy at CHC Chirgaon, dead body is being handover to his relative for cremation.

1. Accused i) Mukesh S/o Sh. Sarwan Kumar R/o Village Rawi, PO Sarahan, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, age 18 years, ii) Devinder S/o Sh. Jeet Ram R/o Village Kholvi, Tehsil Kumarsain, Distt. Shimla, age 31 years, iii) Ravi S/o Sh. Uma Dutt R/o Village Totto, Tehsil Nankhari, Shimla, age 18 years, arrested in case FIR No. 222/16 Dt. 20.11.16 U/S 302, 34 IPC at PS Rampur, today remanded in judicial custody upto 03.12.2016 by the Ld. Court.

2. Accused Jasvinder Singh @ Jassa S/o Sh. Budh Singh R/o Village & PO Lamhe PS Hathur, Tehsil Jagraon, Distt. Ludhiana, Punjab, age 29 years & Gurmeet Singh Gora S/o Sh. Joginder Singh R/o House No. 4, Street No. 19, PS Sultan Singh, Tehsil & Distt. Amritsar, Punjab, arrested in case FIR No. 278/16 Dt. 23.11.2016 U/S 4, 5 The Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act at PS West, are on police remand upto 26.11.2016.

3. Accused Devinder Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Ghanshyam R/o Village (Kheda) Khashdhar, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla, age 26 years, arrested in case FIR No. 75/16 Dt. 23.11.16 U/S 376 IPC & 4 of POCSO Act at PS Chirgaon, is being produced before Ld. Court today.
