Crime Report on Nov. 02, 2016

1. An Accident case FIR No. 104/16 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 01.11.2016 U/S 279,337,304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Suresh Kumar S/O Late Sh. Roop Lal R/O Village Bandhthana PO Kushwa Tehsil Nirmand Distt. Kullu HP. stated therein  that on 01.11.2016 his brother Prakash Chand alongwith Tikam Ram on the way towards Bari  Nichar on Motorcycle No. HP06A-3949, met with an accident near maglad &  rolled down from NH 05 into Maglad Khad due to rash & negligence driving of Tikam Ram S/o Sh. Paras Ram. In this accident Prakash Chand died on spot and Tikam Ram S/O Sh. Paras Ram Village Samidhar PO Poshna Tehsil Nirmand Distt. Kullu HP sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhoop Singh I/C PP Jeori.

2. An Accident case FIR No. 210/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 01.11.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Racheet Chauhan S/o Sh. Ritesh Chauhan R/o Sawant Niwas Lower Dhalli, Shimla, age 24 years stated therein that he was coming towards Dhalli Bazar in his vehicle No. HP-09A-3155 Alto Car. At about 02-30PM, when he reached near Dewali Colony, where a Car No. HP-09A-4221 met with an accident near Prabhakar Automobile & rolled down on the another vehicle parked on Churat Nala road, caused sustained injuries to Pritika Chauhan. The case is being investigated by ASI Roshan Lal, I/O PS Dhalli.

3. An Accident case FIR No. 66/16 has been registered at PS Chopal today on 02.11.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Saurbh  S/o Sh. Ramesh Negi R/o Bodhna Teh. Chopal, Shimla stated therein that on 01.11.2016 he was coming Chopal from Shimla  along with Sarbh Chandel in a vehicle No HP-08A-1820 (Swift Car). At about 11.30 PM when they reached near Khirki Station, above vehicle met with an accident & rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Sarabh, cuased sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by HC Gian Singh I/O PS Chopal.

4. An Accident case FIR No. 84/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 02.11.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement Mohd. Rafi S/o Sh. Bashiruddin R/o village Salyana-2 PO Chalnair Tehsil Kotkhai Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that on the intervening night of 01/02.11.2016,  a Pick-Up No. HP-10A-1762 met with an accident near Salyana Kotkhai due to rash & negligent driving of Sh. Ganesh Chand S/o Sh. Kakaram R/o village Amloh PO Kheria Tehsil Dehradoon  Distt Kangra age 35 years, casued sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev I/O PS Kotkhai.

5. An Accident case FIR No. 70/16 has been registered at PS Chirgaon today on 02.11.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the rukka of ASI Kuldeep Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon stated therein that today at about 02-30 PM,  one Bolero Camper met with an accident near village Kaloti, caused sustained injuries to three persons. The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon.  

6. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No.132/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain 01.11.2016 U/S 341,323,34 IPC on the application of Sh. Jatin S/O Sh. Satish Kumar R/o Village & PO Madhawani Tehsil Kumarsain Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 01.11.2016, at about 10-00PM, he alongwith his sister Upekasha were coming from Madhwani to home. On the way two persons namely Visual and Jatin obstructed their way and beaten them brutally. The case is being investigated by LHC Sita I/O PS Kumarsain.

7. A Wrongful Restraint & Criminal Intimidation case FIR No. 65/16 has been registered at PS Chopal on 01.11.2016 U/S 341,323,506 IPC on the application of Smt. Seema Devi  D/o Sh. Paras Ram  R/o village Shwala  PO Sarah Tehsil Chopal Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 31.10.2016, at about 04.30 PM when he was going to her home at Sarah, one person namely Balia S/o Sh. Atma Ram obstructed her way, beaten her brutally and also threatened with dire consequences.

8. During last 24 hours 257 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 38 & fine realized Rs. 43,740/- & 58  persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 5,800/-.
