Crime Report on Nov. 11, 2016

1. A Wrongful Restraint & Criminal Intimidation  case FIR No. 68/16 has been registered at PS Chopal on 10.11.2016 U/S 341, 323, 506, 34 IPC on the application of Sh. Devender Singh Negi S/o Sh Rajinder Negi R/o Village Bodhna PO & Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla stated therein that on 10.11.2016, one person namely Rajesh Dharevla @ Tittu and his brother Virender Dharevla obstructed his way, beaten him brutally and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Pratap Singh I/O PS Chopal.

2. A Wrongful Restraint & Criminal Intimidation  case FIR No. 272/16 has been registered at PS West on 10.11.2016 U/S 341 323 504 506 IPC on the statement of Smt. Meena Sharma W/o Sh. Om Prakash R/o Village Shildu, PO Panesh Teshil & Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 10.11.2016 at about 09-30 AM, her neighbourer namely Puran Dutt obstructed her way & abused her. He also beaten her & threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Mohan Lal, I/O PS West.

3. During last 24 hours 586 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 329 & fine realized Rs. 81,120/- & 70 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 7,600/-.

Inquest Report

1. On 10.11.2016, Deceased Ram Sain  S/o Lt. Sh. Kesru Ram R/o Village Badawan, PO Kiyao, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla, age 40 years has been died due to fell down from hillock & sustained head injuries. After autopsy at PHC Ghanvi, deadbody handed over to his relative for cremation.   

   Follow Up

1. Accused Ramesh Thakur S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/o Kanta Niwas, Vikas Nagar, Shimla A/P Conductor in HRTC Deptt. Unit Rohru, arrested in case FIR No. 108/16 Dt. 07.11.2016 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act  at PS East, today remanded in judicial custody upto 21.11.2016 by the Ld. Court.

2. Accused Hem Raj S/o Sh. Surat Ram R/o Village Lohana, PO Madog, Tehsil & PS Chopal, Shimla, age 42 years, arrested in case FIR No. 216/16 Dt. 09.11.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli,  is on police remand upto 12.11.2016.

3. Accused Akshu Rekta S/o Sh. Daulat Ram R/o Village Pungrish PO & Tehsil Kotkhai,, Shimla, age 20 years, arrested in case FIR No. 87/16 Dt. 09.11.2016 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS Kotkhai, is remanded in police custody upto 12.11.2016 by the Ld. Court.
