Crime Report on Nov. 08, 2016

1. A House Trespass case FIR No. 109/16 has been registered at PS East on 07.11.2016 U/S 448 427 IPC on the complaint that she alongwith her family residing in Chandigarh and rarely visit to Shimla. She kept one person namely Shyam Lal R/o Village Kalony, Tehsil Oat, Distt. Mandi, HP  as a caretaker of her house at Jakhu Shimla. On 06.11.2016, when her caretaker Shyam Lal alongwith his family was out of station, some unknown person entered in her house by breaking the window grill and scattered the household articles with the intention to disturb her. The case is being investigated by ASI Gopinder Pal, I/O PS East.

2. An Accident case FIR No. 191/16 has been registered at PS Theog today on 08.11.2016 U/S 279 304A IPC on the rukka of ASI Keshav Chand, I/C PP Chhaila, Shimla stated therein that today morning, a Alto Car No. HP-09A-4499 met with an accident on the road Theog-Kotkhai near Chhaila at Shilli Mode and rolled down into the Giri River from the road. In this accident three persons namely i) Ramit Kumar S/o Sh. Om Prakash R/o Village Rihan, PO Devgarh, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla, age 23 years ii) Anil S/o Sh. Budhi Ram R/o Village Alanwag, PO Devgarh, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla, age 16 years & iii) Ashish S/o Sh. Tara Dutt R/o Village Baghar, PO Devgarh, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 24 years died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Keshav Chand, I/C PP Chhaila.

3. During last 24 hours 395 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 179 & fine realized Rs. 74,010/- & 75 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 9,400/-.

1. Accused  Babu Ram S/O Sh. Matha Ram R/O Vill. Droal, PO Satog, Tehsil Theog, Distt Shimla, aged 39 year arrested in case FIR No. 107/16 Dt. 05.11.2016 U/ S 454, 380 IPC at PS East is on Police Remand upto 10.11.2016

2. Accused Ramesh Thakur S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/o Kanta Niwas, Vikas Nagar, Shimla A/P Conductor in HRTC Deptt. Unit Rohru, arrested in case FIR No. 108/16 Dt. 07.11.2016 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act  at PS East, is being produced before Ld. Court today.

3. Accused  Tarun S/O Sh. Lekh Ram R/O Village Bharyal PO Badehri Tehsil & Distt Shimla H.P. Age 21  years arrested in Case  FIR No. 269/16 Dt. 05.11.2016 U/S 377  IPC & 4,6 POCSO Act  at PS West Shimla, is remanded in police custody upto 10.11.2016 by the Ld. Court.
