An Excise Act case FIR No. 68/16 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 20.11.2016 U/S 39(i)(a) HP Excise Act on the rukka of Insp. Munish Chauhan, SHO PS Jubbal stated therein that on 20.11.2016, during traffic checking at Kuddu Barrier one vehicle No. UK-07-BJ-7172 alongwith driver namely Anku Chauhan S/o Sh. Mohan Lal Chauhan R/o Village Bhansar, PO Jhalta, Tehsil Jubbal, Distt. Shimla intercepted by them and recovered 02 boxes of Royal Stag, 01 box of Rum (Old Monk), 05 boxes of country liquor marka Himachal No. 1 & 8 boxes of Beer marka Kingfisher) (Total 16 Boxes) from his possession. The case is being investigated by SHO PS Jubbal.
An Accident case FIR No. 146/16 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 21.11.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Rahul Sharma S/o Sh. Raj Kumar R/o Village Samnoli, PO Chintpurni, Tehsil Dehra, Distt. Kangra A/P Swastik Niwas, Lower Khalini, Shimla alleging therein that on 20.11.2016, he was going to Khalini from Jhanjiri in his Motorcycle. At about 07-15 PM, when he reached at Khalini curve, at the same time one vehicle No. HP-01M-1958 came rashly & hit his Motorcycle, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Dinesh, I/O PS New Shimla.
An Accident case FIR No. 82/16 has been registered at PS Sunni today on 21.11.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Yash Pal S/o Sh. Lekh Raj R/o Village Sandoa, PO Dharogra, Tehsil Sunni, Distt. Shimla stated therein that today on 21.11.2016, he was coming to Sunni from Bathora. At about 07-30 AM, when he reached at Kothi near Ogli and saw that a Alto Car No. HP-52A-6407 met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Dinesh S/o Sh. Chandu Ram R/o Village Bathora, PO Pandoa, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla & rolled down 200 feet from the road, cuased sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by ASI Prem Lal, I/O PS Sunni.
An Accident case FIR No. 204/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 21.11.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Naresh Verma S/o Sh. Gian Singh Verma R/o Village Chhukdaiyal PO Kamla Nagar, Bhattakufar, Shimla stated therein that today he was coming to Shimla from Shillaru in his vehicle. At about 12-05 AM, when he reached at Shani Mandir near Lambidhar & saw that one vehicle No. HP-09C-5666 drive rashly in wrong direction & collide with another vehicle No. HP-25B-3300 who was coming from Kufri side. In this accident driver of vehicle No. HP-25B-3300 sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Singh, I/C PP Fagu.
During last 24 hours 328 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 160 & fine realized Rs. 42,900/-, 86 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 9,100/- & 01 challaned under Mining Act & fine realized Rs. 10,000/-
Follow Up
Accused Sanoj Shankhyan S/o Sh. Joginder Singh R/o village Kupri P/o Baghar Tehsil and PS Kotkhai Distt. Shimla age 26 years has been arrested in case FIR No. 90/16 dated 18.11.201U/S 456,511 IPC at PS Kotkhai, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.
Four Accused i) Mukesh S/o Sh. Sarwan Kumar R/o Village Rawi, PO Sarahan, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, age 18 years, ii) Devinder S/o Sh. Jeet Ram R/o Village Kholvi, Tehsil Kumarsain, Distt. Shimla, age 31 years, iii) Ravi S/o Sh. Uma Dutt R/o Village Totto, Tehsil Nankhari, Shimla, age 18 years & iv) (Minor accused) , arrested today in case FIR No. 222/16 Dt. 20.11.16 U/S 302, 34 IPC at PS Rampur. Tomorrow they will be produced before Ld. Court.
