A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 216/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 09.11.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Subhash Shastri, I/O PS Dhalli stated therein that on 09.11.2016 at about 06-10 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Hem Raj S/o Sh. Surat Ram R/o Village Lohana, PO Madog, Tehsil & PS Chopal, Shimla, age 42 years intercepted by them at Bhattakufar and recovered 590gram charas from his possession. Accused has been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by ASI Subhash Shastri, I/O PS Dhalli.
An Gambling Act case FIR No. 194/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 09.11.2016 U/S 3,4 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Inder Singh, I/O PP Chhaila, Shimla stated therein that on 09.11.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Chhaila, Bagain etc. At about 04-30 PM, when they reached at Bagain, on the secret information, he raided in the house of Jeet Ram S/o Sh. Durga Nand R/o Vilalge Chohal, PO Chhaila and found that four persons namely Rajesh, Naresh Kumar, Inder Singh & Madan were playing gambling with cards and recovered Rs. 45,300/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Inder Singh, I/O PP Chhaila.
An Excise Act case FIR No. 217/16 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 10.11.2016 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Chaman Lal I/C PP Nankhari stated therein that on 09.11.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling. On secret information raid has been conducted on the Shop/Dhaba of Devender Kumar S/O Sh. Devi Singh Vill. Kofardhar PO Jahu S/T Nankhari Distt. Shimla and recovered 06 bottles of country liquor marka Una No.1 from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Chaman Lal I/C PP Nankhari .
An Accident case FIR No 215/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 09.11.2016 U/S 279,337.304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Karam Chand S/O Sh. Lobha Ram R/o Village Matauni PO Taklech Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that on 09.11.2016 at about 04.20 PM one A/P Alto car came from Nogli side met with an accident near Khanotu due to rash & negligent driving of Devinder Singh and rolled down 500 meters into the ditch near Khanotu. In this accident one person namely Shakti Chand S/O Padam Dass R/o Village & PO Darkali Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP, died on the spot and driver Devinder Singh S/O Gopal Singh R/O Kandi P.O Kashapath Teh. Rampur Distt. Shimla HP Sustain injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Ishwar Singh I/C PP Taklech.
An Accident case FIR No. 193/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 09.11.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sanam Chhering S/o Lt. Sh. Kiran Singh R/o Village Kothi, PO Duni, Tehsil Kalpa, Distt. Kinnaur, age 44 years stated therein that on 09.11.2016, he was going to Kalpa from Shimla in vehicle No. HP-25A-1180. At about 04-00 PM, when he reached at Sarog Gali, at the same time a vehicle No. HP-25A-1180 came rashly & hit his vehicle, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Singh, I/O PP Fagu, Shimla.
An Accident case FIR No. 110/16 has been registered at PS East Shimla today on 10.11.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Anil Kumar S/o Sh. Madan Lal R/o New MC Building, near Govt. School, Sanjauli, Shimla stated therein that on 10.11.2016, he was going to office from his residence in vehicle No. HP-03C-3893. At about 11-30 AM, when he reached near Petrol Pump, at the same time a Maruti Car No. HP-07D-1798 came from Sanjauli side & rashly overtake by hitting his car from bumper and collide with Private Bus No. HP-51B-7512 which was coming from Chhota Shimla side & rolled on the road. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PS East, Shimla.
An Accident case FIR No. 271/16 has been registered at PS West today on 10.11.2016 U/S 279,427 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sanjeev Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Mathu Ram R/o Railway Board Building, Quarter No. 32, 33 Shimla-3 stated therein that today on 10.11.2016, he was coming to Shimla in his vehicle No. HP-03D-1729. At about 01-30 PM, when he reached at Boileauganj chowk, at the same time a vehicle No. HP-10A-7929 (Creta) came rashly from Summer Hill side & hit his vehicle and damaged it badly. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjay Kumar, I/O PS West.
A Damage of Public Property case FIR No. 216/16 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 10.11.2016 U/S 3 PDP Act on the application of Sh. Shishu Pal S/O Sh. Chaman Lal R/o Vill. Juni PO Khadhan Teh. Rampur Distt . Shimla a/p Driver in HTRC Depot Shimla–I alleging therein that on 08.11.2016, he was on the route duty from Shimla to Shyamnagar & parked bus at Shyam Nagar Bus Stop. On the intervening night of 08/09.11.2016, some unknown person has damaged the wiper, broken the side mirror and also puncture the tyre of the bus. The case is being investigating by ASI Chaman Lal I/C PP Nankhari.
During last 24 hours 312 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 134 & fine realized Rs. 45,100/- & 62 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 6,450/-.
Inquest Report
Deceased Chhatra Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Parsu Ram R/o Vilage Madhana, PS Nerwa, Shimla age 47 years committed suicide by way of hanging himself from the branch of tree. His postmortem is being conducting at CH Nerwa.
Follow Up
Accused Babu Ram S/O Sh. Matha Ram R/O Vill. Droal, PO Satog, Tehsil Theog, Distt Shimla, aged 39 year arrested in case FIR No. 107/16 Dt. 05.11.2016 U/ S 454, 380 IPC at PS East, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.
Accused Ramesh Thakur S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/o Kanta Niwas, Vikas Nagar, Shimla A/P Conductor in HRTC Deptt. Unit Rohru, arrested in case FIR No. 108/16 Dt. 07.11.2016 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS East, is on police remand upto 11.11.2016.
Accused Tarun S/O Sh. Lekh Ram R/O Village Bharyal PO Badehri Tehsil & Distt Shimla H.P. Age 21 years arrested in Case FIR No. 269/16 Dt. 05.11.2016 U/S 377 IPC & 4,6 POCSO Act at PS West, today remanded in judicial custody by the Ld. Court.

Accused Akshu Rekta S/o Sh. Daulat Ram R/o Village Pungrish PO & Tehsil Kotkhai,, Shimla, age 20 years, arrested in case FIR No. 87/16 Dt. 09.11.2016 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS Kotkhai, is remanded in police custody upto 12.11.2016 by the Ld. Court.
